Fraudulent Charges

I used this app exactly once in late August and uninstalled it immediately. Three months later, while not staying at any property using it, I was charged $180 by them in three transactions. I contacted the Airbnb I used it for, and they confirmed they didn’t initiate the charges. There’s no support phone number available, and they’re not responsive on their help email. User beware!

Pyramid Mountain #1

Less than spectacular,

This stay was a less than expectations experience for all guests. First thing upon arrival, we opened the hot tub and found it to be LIME green in color. As I tested it with my hand, I began to have piercing burning sensation that continued throughout the evening (even when washed several times with soap and water and dried with clean towels). Although the spa company came and emptied the water, it was noted that the water was very off balance that same morning and the employee there said he put chemicals on to correct the balance in hopes of “solving the problem”. It did not. The hot tub company said they would would have it fixed and bring an new chlorine depressor to the house. The manager of the spa company then even arrived to insure the water would be safe the next day and that they would drop off a new chlorine floater (the one in there was broken open when we arrived) the next day…. That day passed and no chemical floater was delivered so I called the company direct and got an “oh, it was forgotten” reply.

Anyhow, returning to the house…

The furniture was below SunRiver standards on the main level with many pieces broken. The only chair in the primary bedroom fell slightly sideways as I tried to change my shoes. The rugs in the bathroom were so dirty, it was beyond comprehension how those could still be set out for display (as seen in the photos still available). The couch was something you would find at a college dorm lounge, so old and worn, with no regard to comfort or care.

TVs in all rooms were unusable. The living room TV was so dark and old it did not display any channel or DVD appropriate for guests to enjoy. No reception or usability of TVs in the primary room or upstairs spare bedroom, so the TVs were a mere ugly art piece.

The quilting or fabric used in the worn blankets to supply the beds were so used and inadequate, who knows when they were last washed or even acceptable to be used.

Honestly, this was a disgrace to the SunRiver rental community and I’m not sure how to further this evaluation. So utterly disappointed that this is the quality of service and facility to arrive and accept as we paid for our vacation. I’m not coming from a background of anything less than acceptable and this was by far the opposite. I almost went to the ER for my arm that was still burning after putting it I to the lime green water the first evening , as it continued to burn, and all of us were concerned about it.

My family came from Montana to celebrate several events together and to be at this property and this is what we had. I have several other items but feel it is irrelevant to mention more.

Common sense and graciousness for paying guests should come first and this was simply not the case for our stay.

Beautiful Home in Joshua Tree

My first time renting an AirBnB from Fieldtrip and I would do it again. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 6 day stay. Loved the view of the boulders from the pool area!
It was super quiet and we even had a coyote visitor! Thank you for letting us stay! We will definitely book with a Fieldtrip home!
