Blowing Wind Property
The home itself was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately, the logistics and management made our two-night stay much more stressful than it should have been.
Before arriving, I had to ask multiple times for the keypad code, even though the booking information stated it would be provided. I completed the required verification through Wander, but the property management company, Stay Suites, asked me to complete verification again and also requested the last four digits of my credit card, despite my reservation and payment being made through Wander.
The biggest issue happened when we returned to the home around 11 p.m. and discovered the keypads were dead. Stay Suites sent us numerous codes to try, but none worked. For approximately 45 minutes, my family and I were outside in an unfamiliar neighborhood, being bitten by mosquitoes and walking around the property trying different entrances and codes. We were finally able to get inside when my son tried one of the codes on the back kitchen door—which was not the original code we had been given.
The next day, someone came out to replace the keypad batteries and address the issues. However, the front-door code was changed again, and we were not given the new code until I followed up, even though we still had another night remaining.
I will say that Wander was responsive and helpful in working to get the issues corrected, and Stay Suites did ultimately address the problems. However, it did not feel as though the home and access system had been properly checked before our arrival.
For a two-night stay, I had to communicate with the management company far too often about basic access to the property. Normally, you receive your code, check in, and enjoy your stay. Between repeated verification requests, the credit card request, dead keypads, multiple incorrect codes, and codes being changed during our stay, it took away from what otherwise could have been a very nice experience.
The home was beautiful, but based on the management experience, I would not book another property managed by Stay Suites.

Our stay in Big Sky was fantastic! The house was outstanding and perfect for our getaway. Lots of wildlife, we were greeted by a visiting
Moose and her baby! We also saw 2 foxes regularly along with deer. One night we saw a herd of elk!
Collin was very responsive and answered all of our questions and made some great recommendations for us. I highly recommend Big Sky Basecamp and I hope we can return during ski season! Thanks!

Best Travel App
Every experience has been outstanding, their concierge is helpful and the homes/locations simply cannot be beat.
Love this brand.

Bad
I’ve had this app for about 4 years and it’s really quite remarkable how little has been done to improve the functionality of it.
Had Issues but they made it right
House was not super clean upon arrival and they had cleaners there asap. Financial restitution was made in the end for issues and we ended up having a great vacation.
