Used app for awhile, while I enjoyed it but there are two big issues for me:
1. Can't export data. I've been asking since the start. I know it is a small team but it doesn't sit right with me.
2. Littered with misattributed / dubious quotes. Every app like this has this problem, but I am done. People are responding and meditating to quotes that are certainly not Stoic, but often not even consistent to any philosophy at all.

As someone who had no clue what stoicism meant, and as an atheist and recovering addict, I finally found a way to help gain inner peace and move with integrity.
I’ve made countless self development discoveries based on the daily quote and prompt to write my reflection. It’s the 1st thing I do in the morning and last before bed.
I appreciate the app’s simplicity. Black and white. Small text box to keep reflections concise. No extra pay features beyond subscribing.
Try this app if traditional mindfulness practices (meditation, journaling) don’t click for you.
Lastly, you’ll gain so much introspection from reading others’ daily reflections. Thank you ❤️

New app freezes up on setup
I purchased the app a few weeks ago, there was an issue with the screen not sizing properly during setup. However, I reached out to the publisher, and greatly appreciated the response I got. I can now access the app after resizing my text size, and, what’s more, the publisher informed me of an updated version that would correct this that is rest for download!
Now, to find the time to start journaling; “adulting” can be SO time consuming!

New app freezes up on setup
I purchased the app a few weeks ago, and have finally had time to sit down and explore it.
The app opens fine (I have IOS 16. Something), I entered a first name and hit continue, then the next screen seems like it’s over layered/like a double exposure photograph of text at the bottom of the screen. Additionally, it won’t respond to any inputs once in this second in the sequence of setup screens. This is very disappointing since I was charged over $50 for an app and it won’t even setup properly.
Please fix this, I was really looking forward to this app after hearing about it on the Stoic Coffee Break podcast and joining a community of sorts that thinks a little differently.
Also, did I pay for an annual subscription or a monthly one? It was unclear on the App Store that I was even paying for the app to begin with, but 59.99/month is not sustainable for me and I’d need to cancel out if that’s the case.

App Account Set-Up Broken
For a first-time user setting up an account on an iPhone, this app is broken. When you get to the screen where you “Claim 50WP Points”, the app hangs after congratulating you for doing so. There doesn’t appear to be a workaround … killing the app and starting over just hangs in the same spot. Bummer.

everything about this app is perfect. the curation of quotes, prompts, meditations, community discussions. very thoughtfully built. it also has an exceptional UI - clean, intuitive, and featuring only what matters without the unnecessary stuff. it is a unique way to incorporate stoicism in one’s life. gamification elements really help to stay motivated and incentivized to keep the strike. highly, highly recommend!

A great daily practice / needs more
I use this app everyday to take a few minutes of time to consider a Stoic ideal and respond in kind. I like seeing other people's takes on that ideal, it helps to know we are all on the same shared path. The character limit is tight, which does help constrain and moderate what we can offer, but feels a little short.
The app needs more features, though.
We should be able to export our data if we like. The character limit should be expanded. I would also like to follow other people and see them in a feed once the app gets more users. A death clock would be a nice addon, as well as the ability to add additional meditations at night as well.
I understand the name of the app, but without adding more terms it is hard to find on the app store.
I look forward to seeing where the app goes in the future.

A great app for building stoic habits!!
I am really pleased with this app. I have been a practicing stoic for a number of years and this is the first app that has gotten me to practice journaling on a regular basis. The quotes are thoughtfully chosen. The prompts are helpful without being dogmatic. Being able to see others reactions to the quotes has been very helpful in making sure that I am moving in the right direction without the negative commentary that other apps and communities allow for. This one is a really great app!!! Bravo!!!

A new app that needs some polish but is off to a fantastic start and the base idea is just perfect! A bite a stoic wisdom for the day; a chance for you to provide a brief meditation of your own about it, sharing it with the community who is all pondering that same but of stoic wisdom alongside you; and then you can dig a bit deeper reading meditations from the community and also other related content like a podcast episode about that same topic of the day.
THIS is what modern social media should be, and the answer to that banal evil of the modern world.
