I Love this app! I was looking for an app that would give me just anough Art feed to grow in my knowledge of art. This was it. And with added bonus for extra learning with the links to further information on the daily subject. I recommend it for sure.
For busy people who love art
I’m studying medicine, but I’ve always loved art and art history as well, and every time I open the app and see a new artist or piece I’ve never seen before I get really excited and read the perfectly proportioned little description, perfect for very busy people. I found some of my favorite artists and styles that way! Makes my day more interesting and keeps me regularly dosed on my favorite hobby!
I just wish the more obscure artists had representative masterpiece collections 😔

My favourite app
In lieu of a dumb phone, I try to fill my phone with little things that bring me joy so I fill it full of art widgets. I always look forward to starting the day with DailyArt and discovering more incredible art to add to my home screen gallery. 10/10 would recommend!
Top Art History App.
Excellent. Every bit as good as its predecessor “History of Art” which disappeared for some reason.
Inspirational
I have been using that app for a while and it’s been a blast. Every day I take a short break from my usual routine to discover and read about new art pieces. My city lacks art galleries so for me this is the best way to connect with beauty and messages each piece provides.
Unbelievably Educational
Solid educational app. I really didn’t know anything about art but daily viewing reading the piece of the of day has taught me how to identifying realism vs Impressionism and baroque vs modern styles. It’s become one of the highlights of my day and it certainly beats doom scrolling.

This app is a great way for people to casually connect with art and learn about its context and history. Including the quizzes. Not a burden to subscribe for the extra stuff as you can find art online for free so I didn’t pay for that
I’m giving four stars only because I wish to see more modern/postmodern art included in here. Like installation pieces, sculptures, photography, or performance works. I’ve been using it for about a week so it could be buried in there. If not tho I think it adds a great deal to the learning of art.
Still a good app to have especially if you like checking a horoscope in the morning like modern day version of reading the newspaper at the kitchen table!

I appreciate that Daily Art allows one to set the time of day for a quick, mindful interjection of culture into my life.

The ads are very overwhelming
So many ads that take me out of the experience. Sometimes the ads even have fake skip buttons that when I click on them they take me to their website instead of exiting the ad.
Other than that I think this is still a great app to help improve your art history knowledge. I specifically got this app to help broaden my art terminology so if the ads get more annoying I see myself switching to another app.

This is not a game app.. but adds for games suddenly started to yell across my reading about a Canadian artist born out of the constitution act. Damn it
