Distraction while reading notes on app
Hi DAMS Team,
I would like to give some feedback regarding the large, moving email ID/watermark displayed on the screen while watching/revising DVT, handwritten notes, LRR, etc.
I completely understand the need for a watermark because of copyright and content-security concerns. However, the current size and movement of the email ID are quite distracting, especially when we are trying to read notes directly from the DAMS app.
During revision, our concentration is already limited, and the moving watermark repeatedly catches the eye and interrupts the reading flow. It becomes particularly irritating when studying for long hours.
I request you to please consider:
* Reducing the size of the email ID/watermark
* Making it more faded/transparent
* Keeping it in a less distracting position or using a subtler watermark
* Maintaining the copyright/security protection without compromising the reading experience
One of the major advantages of having notes on the DAMS app is that we can revise them on our phone or iPad anywhere, without having to carry physical notes everywhere. But the current watermark makes reading directly from the app unnecessarily difficult.
Other educational platforms have managed to maintain content security while keeping the study material relatively distraction-free. I hope DAMS can also consider improving this aspect.
This may look like a small UI issue, but for students doing multiple revisions of DVT, LRR and handwritten notes, it has a significant impact on concentration and the overall learning experience.
Please consider this feedback seriously and try to provide an option that protects the content while making the reading experience more comfortable.
Thank you

Dams Application quality is poor
Review:
“The DAMS application quality is very poor, especially when solving question banks or modules — there’s a frequent glitch with slides. For example, while attempting Question 1, the options displayed belong to Question 3 or 4 instead. I’ve reported this issue to the faculty multiple times, but it hasn’t been resolved. I’ve also updated my device, but the problem persists. Many other students face the same issue.
The teachers and teaching methodology are excellent (OG), but the application quality is poor. If you’re considering buying the subscription, go ahead — the content and teaching are worth it. Just be aware that the app itself needs serious improvement in terms of stability and bug fixes.”

Application cation-: “नजर हटी दुर्घटना घटी “
The application could have been so much better. Today where there exist so many apps which provide a platform for medical education online, the Dams Alpha app is the worst to use. So for instance when we open the app and play a certain video, as soon as we minimise the app and we open it again within a minute, the app starts again from the very beginning, which makes it very irritating to open the video all over again, and it happens a lot of times and you don’t know where did you stop the last time. I have used other apps as well, for example PrepLadder, marrow, cerebellum, even ‘CORE BTR’ , which is the newest app in the market, but still it has a very good user interface. It is very user-friendly, then the Dams app, which has been there since a long time. It is a kind request to the Dams people to please improve your application as we pay the same amount of money that we pay to the other apps ,to the other platforms. It is not that we buy the app at a very cheaper rate that you provide with such a cheap quality of interface, and if we pay the same amount, we expect the same quality as well. There is no doubt about the teachers or the teaching or the study material. It is all up-to-date and really good. It is just that the app gets very very irritating to use because what happens everytime is “नजर हटी दुर्घटना घटी “ !!!!!
