Best app ever!

This is such a convenient app to use. It uses real time location and it saves me so much time during pick up. Love it! And it’s very intuitive and easy to use.

Horrible

I don’t know if it’s the school or the app but they don’t use this to verify anything at at Tallahassee science and math school they release them at regular time and have parents get out there car and wait outside the school away from the car assigned for pick up, what happens if the face the kid sees is familiar and the kid can’t process if they’re to go with that person or not no one verified if the car or kid was in the right place this is a problem just seems like a fancy way to be lazy hopefully the app sets guidelines for the schools to use it in a better manner I’m glad technology has came a long way but just relying on a location from a phone can’t be the safest way to release kids

Doesn’t work

I can’t even use the app. It won’t let me get past the introduction and then it freezes. Now I have to go to the school to see what I can do. What a waste of time with this app.

Hopefully it gets sued out of existence soon

This app is the worst idea ever and will likely result in an elementary school kid hit by a car. Forcing parents to fight with a buggy confusing app in a school parking lot is dangerous. The enforcement of a geofence means it’s unavoidable to legally pick up your children. Unfortunately it’s going to take a tragedy and lawsuit to force a better plan.

Awful!

Not sure why schools are using this useless app. We are unable to add additional people to pick up our children. The app is very slow and glitchy and like others have said you need to be at least 10-20 feet away from the school for it to even show you are there. Everything does not need to involve technology. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Straight garbage 🗑️ 👎👎👎👎

A lot of issues and it took a long time to open the app I was in front of the school. It did not show her name.

Wrong dismissal time

My kid dismissal is at 1:50 but the app doesn’t let me select my child to be released until 2pm waste of time!

Location

Multi family issue

I sometimes pick up my nephew and niece but when ever I go to pick up my son the app auto release my nephew. These seems like an issue that needs to be resolved.

Need an option to release students individually

Developer, please add an option to release students individually. I work full time and my dad picks up my younger child and I pick up the older one so I can actually work. The app releases both at the same time but I am not always at the same time at the school as my dad.

Great news: we just implemented this feature! On your Student tab, turn off the days you do not want to automatically release your student. This will give your student an individual Release button on the Pickup tab to manually release them. Have a great dismissal!

Updated dash pass app

I absolutely hate the updated dash pass app. The old version was much easier to use and I didn’t have issues getting my kids released on early dismissal days. The new app requires you to manually request a release of your kids and it won’t let you in early release days even if change the pickup time because even if I approve it it still needs staff approval….why!!!!! Not user friendly at all!!! The old app would automatically let the school know you were there and release the kids as soon as your car was in campus. It was nice and user friendly not the new version!!!

Hi neice93, I'm sorry you're frustrated with the new app, but you do not have to manually release your students. You do need to open the app on campus, and may hit the manual release if you do not wish to wait for the geofence to trigger. As far as early release, your campus did not change their dismissal times. You don't have to do anything for campus early release days. Staff has always been required to approve early release request, as this is for student safety. I will reach out to your campus to advise them further of the need to set their dismissal times correctly. If you have any issues moving forward, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am so glad that my kids school is using this app. No more waiting for someone to call them and then wait forever. Whether I’m walking or driving, the school knows when I’m there to pick up my kids. Recommend it for any elementary school.

Franklin academy Carline a train wreck!

This system does not work well I could be at school an hour early waiting and kids are never released on time daily it takes 2 hours waiting in a Car line to get my child, unacceptable! Poor teachers and students
