Cannot generate rectangular data matrix
As titled. While the description might misled you to believe it can.
There are 2 kinds of data matrix: square and rectangular. It’s not like you dump enough data into it it becomes rectangular. It is a different thing.

Thank you for pointing out this functionality. The app is specifically designed to generate reliable, verified square DataMatrix barcodes, which are the most common format used in nearly all applications. The square format is much more common due to its larger data capacity and wider use in most industries. The rectangular version, while supported, is less frequently used and often limited to specific cases, such as high-speed printing scenarios. It has lower adoption primarily because it can encode less data and isn’t suitable for applications where large amounts of data need to be encoded, like in healthcare or logistics. We’ve updated the app promotional description to clarify this and avoid any confusion.
