Meeting someone new? Let a person you trust know you got home safe. Date Safety is a simple safety timer. Before you go, you set how long you expect to be. If you don't check in by then, the people you chose — your guardians — are told right away, along with where you were last. HOW IT WORKS 1. Invite someone you trust to be your guardian. They install the app and tap your invite link. 2. Before meeting someone, start a timer. Add the place and who you're meeting if you like. 3. Tap "I'm OK" to extend, or "I'm safe, end" when you get home. 4. If the time runs out, or you press SOS, your guardians are alerted instantly. WORKS EVEN IF YOUR PHONE DOESN'T Your timer runs on our servers, not only on your phone. If your battery dies or you lose signal, your guardians are still alerted. MADE TO BE EASY TO USE Large text, big buttons, no accounts, no passwords, nothing to set up. Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account and no personal details are required. Your meeting details and location are shared only with the guardians you chose, and only when an alert actually fires. Sessions and alerts are deleted automatically after 30 days, and you can erase everything from Settings at any time. No tracking, no data selling. Note that Date Safety works between two phones, so the person watching over you needs the app as well. IMPORTANT Date Safety is not an emergency service and does not contact the police. Alerts depend on phones, networks and notification permissions, and may be delayed. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number first.
