About

"They don't even want to see my pain journal." It comes up again and again in chronic pain communities - and it isn't because you logged too little. Nobody can read a diary inside a ten-minute appointment. Pain Journal turns what you record into a single page your doctor will actually read. LOGGING TAKES ONE TAP Drag the slider and press Save. On a bad day that has to be enough. Everything else is optional and can be added later. WHAT IT ASKS THAT OTHER APPS DON'T - What the pain stopped you doing today. "It hurts a lot" is easy to wave away. "Couldn't stand long enough to cook dinner" is not. - What you have already tried, and why it stopped. Your doctor needs to know where you got to. This is your history, not a request. - What you want from this visit - a diagnosis, getting back to something you can't do, or changing a plan that isn't working. - Your concerns, each with a "because". Not "I'm afraid I'll fall", but "I'm concerned I'll have a bad fall because my leg gives out on the stairs." Doctors act on what they can connect. THE HOME SCREEN SHOWS BAD DAYS, NOT AN AVERAGE An average of 5 could be a steady 5, or half the month at 2 and half at 8. The second one is what needs attention, and an average quietly erases it. So the app counts the days at 7 or above. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO It does not diagnose, does not rate how severe your condition is, does not judge whether your pain is real, and does not recommend any treatment or medication. It will never help you draft a request for a particular drug. It organises what you record so the conversation starts from facts. YOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-up. Nothing is uploaded to any server. The PDF is created on your device. If you delete the app, the data goes with it. ONE-TIME PURCHASE Logging, statistics and the on-screen report are free. Creating the PDF is a single purchase of US$2.99 - not a subscription. Pay once, yours forever, nothing to cancel.
