Message & signing issues
I’m having trouble sending messages to the school from my iPhone (my operating system is up to date), it gets stuck while sending & I have to restart the app.
I also have issues signing forms. The signature becomes very small as soon as I take my finger off, which I usually do in the middle of signing.
I usually go back & use the previous version of the app but will soon no longer be able to.
I would have contacted support but could not find an option for this.

Please fix this
This is a very unstable program, messages are almost impossible so send. It continues to freeze, hopeless
Lots of bugs
Here are a couple of bugs I’ve found in the first few minutes using this app:
- when you open the app the first time it has a search button with no indication of what to search for
- after you log in, the reset password link shows an error toast about a string in the wrong format (why do I need to reset? Can’t I just change my password?)
- viewing “my profile” page shows a full screen error that you can’t get back from and need to kill the app to proceed

Won’t work
This app simply won’t work on my phone (iPhone 16), I just keep getting a spinning loop. Any advice?
Notifications in smartwatch
For some reason, I don’t receive the Notifications on my watch, even though is mirrored to my phone, I think there is still an issue with Notifications, in general.
Improvements but still has issues compared to previous version
Currently these are the issues experienced:
1. Messages are wider than mobile screen making difficult to read. Do not automatically resize to fit or allow pinch zooming to zoom in and out.
2. Discovered that there are multiple folders for messages and you have to manually change folder to see if there are any messages there. Don’t all land in ‘Inbox’.
3. Links sent by teachers to Daymap don’t open in app, they go to web version of Daymap forcing a new login.
4. Leaving an absence notification for a child, while I choose the drop down saying “Sick” it won’t let me send without filling in the message box. This seems redundant and unintuitive.
On improvements, is it possible to integrate student assessment due dates into iCal format so it can integrate with device calendars?
Also your support link on the Apple app page is broken it leads to an Azure Storage link.

Read Messages
The messages on the Home Screen need to be linked to the messages in the communications tab so that when you’ve read it shows as read across the app.
Excellent improvement
This app has had excellent improvements. I can now see so much of my child’s school information. If they are in lesson or not. Also any excursions too. I really like how easy it is to see everything all in the one place. The messaging is so easy to use and I get a notification when I get a new massage or any school updates. Great new app!
