RollCall 4.0 is our biggest update yet. Almost every screen has been rebuilt, and the app is now designed around the things parents do most: follow the bus, manage bookings and stay across changes. A smarter live map • The live map is now the heart of the app, with a journey sheet that follows the run in real time • See every scan on the journey timeline, with the real time and address where your child tapped on and off • School campuses and your child's stops are much clearer, and each child keeps their own colour everywhere in the app • Alerts now appear live on the map as chips. Tap one and the app explains exactly what it means • A new real-time engine makes live tracking quicker and more reliable Bookings, rebuilt • Set up regular term travel in one sitting, then forget about it • A clearer week view and calendar, with school holidays shown so you are never left guessing • Report an absence or a one-off change in seconds • A new stop finder helps you pick the right stop • When the school changes a route, you see it straight away and can acknowledge it in the app Simpler to get around • The app is now five tabs: Map, Bookings, Transactions, Messages and Account • Messages and Account have been fully redesigned • A short walkthrough greets you the first time you open the new app Easier sign-in • Enter your email and the app works out the rest: your school, and whether you sign in with a password or your school's single sign-on Plus many smaller fixes and performance improvements across the app. If anything looks unfamiliar, the new parent guides at rollcall.com.au/parents/app-guide walk through every screen.
