super cool

I have a fair bit of health anxiety and guilt about lifestyle factors within my control (I drink and smoke and I mostly hate vegetables! sorry!) so I tried this out as a way of scaring myself into being healthier. I was somewhat pleasantly surprised to learn my est death age is around 85 and I’m not even sure I’d really want to live much longer than that lol. but it has really helped to quell that anxiety! and I also love that the app is cleanly organized with data and actions to optimize your health. I also think the price is good for what you get- I signed up for free trial and will most likely keep the subscription.

Response from developer

Brent, the founder of Death Clock here! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! I'm really glad to hear the app helped ease some of your health anxiety. One of our goals is to give people realistic, science-based insights that empower them to make positive changes, not create more fear. And don't worry, you're definitely not the only person who's admitted to having a complicated relationship with vegetables. Small, consistent improvements can make a meaningful difference over time. I'm also happy to hear you're finding the data, recommendations, and organization helpful, and that you feel the subscription provides good value. Feedback like yours means a lot and helps motivate our team to keep improving the app. Thanks again for your support, and welcome to the Death Clock community!

Why does everything need a subscription

This is an app that your are literally supposed to use once, why do I need to pay for you to tell me how to not die. I don’t know when subscriptions like this became the
norm but I don’t appreciate it and I would like it if you just told me how I was gonna pass for free especially because this app is literally ran with ai. Thank you forence

Data is a BIG help

The app has been a big help in preparing for doctor visits w valid recommendations on additional test that can be done to better understand what I can do to improve my health. It also has been great to catch past recommendations that the doctor forgot about!!!

Could be improved. Get the concept.

Interesting / can you add days left? Easier for me to function day by day sometimes!

Locks up at final question

Unfortunately, after going through all the questions it stalls and locks up on the final one. I rebooted the app a couple times with no effect.

Doesn't work

One of the stupidest apps I’ve come across on the Apple Store. tried to create an account several times and it wouldn’t work.

299 per year

sucks information and charge $25 a month for real evaluation which you wouldn’t know if there is any accuracy in it or value in it after you already paid and disclosed personal information

No amount deletion

Sketchy app requires signup then dumps you onto subscription page with no ability to delete account. Free trial is also deceptive tries to hide the fact that you will be charged once period ends.

Interesting concept

Few questions incite subjective answers. An example: Something along the line of ‘how often do you feel extremely stressed?’. The measure of extreme stress can be different for different users. This makes me wonder whether the results are objective.

Fake app

I tried to create an account with both my Apple ID and google….. both tried said I already had an account. Tried to create a email account, got the code sent then app just crashes. I believe the app is spam or email phishing scam. Should be removed from App Store and reported.

Doesn’t work for me

I tried to signup for the trial but it would say success, yet fail to go through.

No FREE TRIAL

Please note there is no 3- day free trial as described in the payment section of this app. I cancelled 5 min after downloading and I’m still being charged for 30 days.

AND - in their ‘support’ and/or ‘contact’ section - they offer no way to contact for support.

SCAM

It UNKNOWINGLY AUTHORIZED a $99 payment out of my account and it is not showing up in ANY of my billing records. The only thing I have is the proof in my bank account. DO NOT FALL FOR IT

Cant cancel subscription

im stuck on the questions it wont go foward after the questions and it wont let me cancel the subscription!

Life changing!

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. This app addressed vitamin deficiencies and suggestions that have improved my life! I am so grateful! Thank you!

Not working

Downloaded, tried to sign up, button grayed out, tried actually reading terms, button still grayed out, deleted and reloaded app, same results even after signing up for emails. Left this review and will delete.

Pay walled

Not free unless you give them your credit card for a « free » trial.

I couldn’t get past “the basics” initial questions

I’m mixed race and couldn’t properly finish the “basics” questions at the beginning because it forces one choice which I imagine would change some of the downstream aspects of the app.

Would love to try this when it’s ready.

Deceptive

Won’t do anything until you agree to be billed. I couldn’t answer one single question.
