Have to pay after you pay
I wanted to use the app to help redecorate a couple rooms. I paid the weekly 9.99 but then to use the features to decorate a room you have to either earn coins or buy coins.
Scam
I paid for a week to test it, but after about four uses, it turned into a game, constantly asking for more payments, rewards, or points. It felt like a scam. The app has potential, but it should offer a full experience without constant payment prompts.” Feel free to tweak anything to match your voice!

Not user friendly and requires $ continuously
This is not a user-friendly app, and doesn’t actually provide usable suggestions for late people. For example, I asked it to simply swap out a rug that I don’t like for a different type of rug. And it gave me an entirely different room. Unimpressed. Spent $10 buying it, another $10 for additional stupid coins, and got nothing out of it.

Great App
I’ve been using it since 2018. It is the only app that lets you upload your own items. It certainly is a novel idea and I believe it bus the only decor app that lets you do that. I mostly find things on Pinterest, edit them, convert them to PNG files and can place them in the room to decorate your space. You do have to rely on outside apps in order to do that since there’s no reliable tool to edit an image within the app. They do have a background removal tool but it is horrible. I’ve made friends with many of the designers and during the pandemic we kept close watch on each other. It is really a cool app. I don’t see myself ever quitting it. I hope they stay around for a long time.

I paid 9.99 for this just to do nothing because they want to charge extra for even opening the app. Horrible

I'm surprised that in 2026 an app still looks like a video game. It's very difficult to use. You have to pay extra for any modifications. The decoration options look like toys. This app is a cartoon.

Paid $10 for the membership, generated 2 AI images of a room. It asks me to buy more coins to do any more. Wasn’t that the point of the membership? Waste of money
Not good
I gave very specific prompts with very specific images of a room and decor to use. Was completely unable to just have it generate my chosen furniture in a room. Not good for helping ai stage a room with already chosen items, only good for coming up w ideas if you don’t already have any of your own
Best game for those who love to design.
This is the best app out there for those who love to design. It’s worth the yearly cost if you take into consideration all those dollars spent on apps that allow you five uses after you paid for it. Deco Matters has thousands of items for your designs from furniture, accessories and even outdoor trees. Let’s not forget get the pets, throw blankets, pillows I could go on and on. They even allow you to upload your stuff you find online. Perfect, perfect, perfect….don’t hesitate just get the yearly subscription. I can get lost in this app…My understanding is this is also how realtors are making online homes look so good by designing on here a taking pics. I promise you’ll not be sorry it’s worth every dime.

You pay for the subscription then every time it wants the same amount of money for a design. Waste of money.
Not for beginners
Not very user friendly. They charge for everything. I had already paid weekly and they charged again after only a couple of designs.

So I want to have a go at designing a room in my house and this appeared to have no in app purchases on the App so gave it a try.
I had to log in with my Apple ID or google is and then every button I touched caused a pop up telling me to buy a membership.
I couldn’t upload photos of the room I wanted to design without paying.
I couldn’t get anything done.
Waste of time and now have to block them from my emails and deleting the app.

Nothing is“Free“
Apparently, you can’t even do anything to just try out this app. Impossible to navigate without a money grab for more coins or paid membership. Realized it was useless and deleted it after 3 minutes.

I have been using this app for a few years now and I love the community and I love creating designs but im not paying £9 per week to play
