Worst Logon Caching Ever

This app makes your life NOT any easier. It clears everything you type in when you switch to another app (Authenticator) to see your 6 digit pin. The latter refreshes in every 30 seconds and you’re expected to:
1. Face ID first into this app
2. Select Local Login
3. Select domain
4. Type username and password
5. Enter the pin (you should have memorised it from the other app cuz if you switch apps, this goes back to step 1 every time.
- all of this in 30 seconds.

Using this with Authenticator is useless

I can’t believe Thycotic/Delinea would put their name on this. First, bouncing between SS and Authenticator is impossible timing wise since Authenticator only gives you a code for 30 seconds and you have to start a fresh login if you leave SS to get the code. Secondly, it only allows a login right after installing the app. After that it never lets you login again. You have to delete and reinstall the app to get the one time login possibility. It’s junk, don’t waste your time.

Unable to sign in via Web Login

Once I complete the authentication process via the “Web Login” I get stuck with an error message indicating “Signing in to Secret Server”. Eventually fails to load and need to try again which ultimately fails again.

Consider Alternatives

This app is only slightly worse than the backend product that supports it. If you’re looking for enterprise password management, Dilenia is a sure fire way to piss off everyone that must suffer its use. The whole stack, including administration of the service, is a path down misery lane.

Completely unusable

After successfully authenticating, the app never loads.

Try to navigate to folders crashes the app.

Not real friendly or feature rich

It would be handy to have the app work with Face ID all the time, not just when you have no service to view cached secrets. Cached secrets for offline access is about the only thing this app seems good for. But it’s a pain to get signed in with mfa to even get secrets cached. Anytime you switch apps (like to get mfa code from auth app) you have to start over with the sign on process. So you have to make sure you have a fresh code from auth app, then switch to SecretServer app and hack in username and password, and mfa code all in under 30 seconds. Fat thumbs and complex passwords do not always allow for that. Using the browser on my phone works just as good and allows me to switch apps to get mfa code without having to start at the beginning again.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Is there a better way to use the app? Are these suggestions for the developers?

Does the job

Not pretty but does the job.

Crashes on launch

I have the current version, and iOS is current on my devices. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I tried it on both an iPhone and an iPad.

Doesn’t work on latest iOS

Black screen when loading. Deleted app, and then reinstalled. Same issue. Black screen then app dies.

Response from developer

Please install the latest release. If this issue persists, please contact our support staff so we can address your concerns. thank you.

Great improvement!!!

Old app had so many issues and couldn’t even log in which caused so much frustration. This new version makes it easier to authenticate with Face ID and feels more secure. I can easily switch between other apps and get back to where I was. It’s also intuitive and easy to use. Looking forward to seeing more features added over time!
