GREEDY COMPANY - GARBAGE SOFTWARE
Cutting a simple square now requires a paid subscrption.
Since my original purchase, Cricut has decided that they are going to charge me to use a simple square object. This wasn't the case when I purchased the machine. I need to produce simple divider cards (rectangular with rounded corners) in various sizes. Nothing more. The old Design Space app worked fine - but, of course, this puke of a company has pulled a "bait and switch" since taking my money.
I'm not interested in a relationship with an ongoing subsciption.

Frustrating to Navigate
I spend hours designing and the new "upgrade" won't allow me to access my previously purchased fonts. Once I waded through a ton of fonts to settle on a couple that are not ideal, the program only allows me to save to my computer. There's no way to get to where it would print on my Cricut. AND it required a monthly subscription for this! Beyond frustrated. They took a good product (Design Studio) and im my opinion, wrecked it.

Not user friendly
This is not user friendly, shame on you for designing such a frustrating machine. I am educated and through graduate school . I can program medical transducers as well as multiple drug pumps simultaneously while running an anesthesia machine and computer. You have really failed in directions with icons etc. Putting a sticker on a coffee cup shouldn’t be rocket science. I paid 400$ for this useless machine that I will give away. I should have known better.

the new version of this is awful. I cant find any of my old saved projects from before the switch. Not user friendly anymore. no messurments on sizing... Horrible

Terrible Software
The mobile version of Design Space is AWFUL. Clunky interface, not intuitive ways to select items and worst of all it crashes every other time I get to the screen where you can rearrange things on the mat.
I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times and am having the same issue. Each time I have to go and rearrange the graphics on the mat again, and hope that it doesnt freeze on a loading screen so that I can get to the point where I can actually cut my design.
As someone who is a graphic designer and knows what a software for graphics should perform like, this is awful user experience.
To top it off there are no 3rd party software that can plug into the Cricut machine itself, to operate it outside of Design Space.
My advice to the developers at Cricut — either allow apps from 3rd party developers to run your product or do something about the terrible UX of your software.

inferior to the iphone version
just sad that the capabilities are inferior to the phone version. less options, less design tools, even compared to pro versions on both. How can a desk top version be so bad?

The recent update has greatly improved the search feature. Finding fonts and designs is now effortless. Kudos to the team for the enhancement!

I thinking that Its official site of cricket design space, but it was a fake with this impression that it would help me create high-quality designs and aid in my crafting needs. I was also enticed to purchase a one-year membership. However, to my disappointment, the product was not up to the standard advertised. I could not use it for any of my crafting needs as it did not function properly, and I could not access the support I needed to resolve my issues.

Loving new update
I am loving the new and improved version of this app. The changes made have elevated my experience, and I find myself exploring more features than before especially the search feature.

Crashing
I have an iPhone 14 plus and the app keeps crashing when I go to my project. I’m away from my desk and I use my phone. Now I can’t. Please fix it.
why 100 different design spaces
I started using my cricut maker with design space on my ipad and I pay for yearly subscription and I used to love it until now. I am getting into sublimation and need to print larger designs and have to use canva because cricut does not allow the cuts but also there is a new beta ersion of desktop design space that can print the sixe I need. It is not available for ipad only available on desk top. I try to downlown a design space and rather than one I find there are like 20 or more!!!!!
all charging more money and still no BETA version/ I am exptemely upset and if I cannot get help soon I am cancelling mus criciut subscription and using sillouette or any other materials and programs that are not cricit and I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS TOO SO THEY DO NOT BUY CRICUT AGAIN!!!!! fix it and help me now!!!!
