WiFi pairing sucks
I’ve tried for two days to get these speakers to pair with my WiFi with no success and can’t even get someone to call. Every time I reset nothing works.

Best App with simple controls to control what you’d like. Bought the Devialet Phantom 1 (Dark Chrome) back in 2023 and never used the app because it just wasn’t there. There wasn’t anything I liked but now I’m able to add extra db for low’s and high’s and also control latency! Best update you’ve had! Please don’t change it

Worthless for problem resolution
Any time I have problems with my $8,000 Devialet WiFi speakers, the app is useless. It happens every month or two, and I have to call an expensive home audio e pert to come to my house to get the stupid speakers working again. I wish I’d never purchased these.
No equalizer option

Great sound patchy software
Always loved the sound of Devialet but over many years of ownership this company just don’t seem to have got to grips with the WiFi. Since the rise and fall of the dialogue and continuous upgrades it has never been a pleasant experience. Hard wired or unwired you never know when a problem will occur and support don’t have the answers. This upgrade to the software looks better but once again I was faced with awful echos when running in stereo and I almost gave up on a resolution when by chance one of my speakers which had upgraded regressed back to its former version, which once upgraded thankfully resolved the problem. All you get from support is a plethora of questions about WiFi settings and it just feels like a blame game. Thing is all my other cheap devices seem to work no problem. Apple HomePods which are totally inferior sound wise and a fraction of the price just work is stereo no problem. Perhaps newer speakers have solved the problem but I won’t be spending that money again to resolve a basic WiFi issue. Used to own six phantoms, now I just have two. Have enjoyed the sound and the investment has been good as I got most of my money back when I sold, but the app and connectivity has been a pain over the years and his is no exception.
