Worst app ever! Drop downs never work keeping me from submitting my reports and hours in a timely manner. 0/10 do not recommend!

This software is so much better than the previous system I was using. It’s simple to use for logging testing locations and showing a pin overlayed on the drawing where each location was. You can upload photos from your camera roll or capture them live.
Doesn’t let you submit if anything with a red dot isn’t filled out
Needs an option to allow us to put in a one-point proctor.

No one could figure out why device magic would crash so often. Neither our tech dept nor DM support. Because we are always needing to gather info from previously submitted reports, we kept “days Submissions Stored” on 180 days. Once we changed that over to 30 days or less, device magic no longer crashes. Having to go hand to hand combat daily with the app was taking up half our day; app now works perfectly, as it should. Constant crashing built into DM code?
My office claimed “iPhone” is better suited for device magic, and we wouldn’t see the crashing as often… still crashes. So much so it makes me think it was built into the app as a bonus feature. If you move away from the app, for any reason, the app will crash when you return. Same goes for when your phone locks on its own. Never attempt to use battery saver on your phone, not only does it increase the crashing, but work also doesn’t save. I noticed app crashes slows, slightly, if you give app time when you return from working on another app. If you switch to another app, answer a call, send email; when you return to DM, you can not touch the screen for 15 seconds, or it will crash 80% of the time. Thank goodness I am paid hourly

Forms not working sometimes properly
Had no forms to fill out on my device magic for over a week. Very frustrating

Needs work
This application could be and do so much more. The devlopment is slow and clumsy without any innovation. The developers need to try harder. This app often hangs up reports without sending them it dose not take full advantage of the geocache option etc. Right now I’m not a big fan of this app but I have to use it because of the company I work for. Get busy people and make a more better app and utilize the technology that we now have at the tip of our fingers

Its a huge safety concern to send people out in the field on constitution jobs without the ability to work. Device magic will not download reports and struggles to far too often. With out the report there is no reason for me to be in the field around all the dangers that are the various jib sites throughout the day.

System is always freezing up, deleting some of your files and not allowing you to drop locations sometimes.
2 stars for concept
The concept for the app is great…however the app has never worked right for the past year. Sending in consent crash reports falls of deaf ears. At the end of the month, this creates more work due to the forms (Fire) not working right resulting in more wasted hours.

Since updating my iPhone IOS I have had issues where app freezes and stays on Downloading screen and never ends, have to restart app, it happens with certain pictures , bug fix please
