The so called “refreshed user experience” isn’t so fresh once you actually start using the application. First off, the developers completely changed everything around, so if you like to go on scavenger hunts, then this new version is just for you! Secondly, trying to add pictures to line items is abysmal as the user must click the button several times to actually add the photos into the report. Overall, I rate the new version with 1 star and that’s generous. If I could review it with zero stars, I would happily do so. Sometimes it’s best to just let things as they are if they are not BROKEN. I also think the developers get so bored that they create these “updates” just so they have complaints such as the one I’m writing now, just so they can be “productive” at work.

Way too slow
I have been using this app for the last 5 years because this is what my employer uses. Goodness this app is slow to close out tickets. It takes about 4-5 minutes to close a ticket out. This means you cannot close the app, so you’re stuck staring at a refresh screen for 4-5 minutes. I’d love this app if it wasn’t so slow.

Good reports, terrible customer service & expensive
I’ve used GoCanvas for many years and the reporting options are good, but the pricing and changes to minimum licensing numbers and 12-month term make it too expensive. It’s really disappointing.
It’s a solid product, but the rigid contract terms and lack of flexibility mean I’ll be moving away from GoCanvas. I couldn’t recommend it under these conditions.

Good system horrible company
My company has been using the app for around 3 years now. The month price has gone from $50 to $115 a month and is set to go to $147 a month shortly. Also, they decided that monthly wasn’t good enough and want to bill you annually. They did all this with a 10 day notice and when you try to cancel you can’t. Can’t cancel online. Have to call or submit a ticket. When you call you can’t get through to billing. Only tech support. When you submit a ticket, they take days to get back to you and even then won’t answer your questions or help resolve the issue. In order to cancel you have to submit a written notice (yes written, sent via mail) 30 days prior to cancellation. They can’t cancel if you’re in the middle of a billing cycle though. And they can’t answer as to when you’re actually able to cancel. So overall, avoid this company and take your money elsewhere.
