Basic Requirement Missing: Please Add Drag & Drop SL/TP on Web and App
I really like trading on Dhan, and the platform has a lot of great features. However, there is one very basic need for any active trader that needs improvement: a simple drag-and-drop option for Stop Loss (SL) and Target Profit (TP) directly on the charts.
Currently, I am trading on Lemon solely because they provide this seamless drag-and-drop feature, which makes risk management so much faster. I would love to move entirely to Dhan, but this functionality is a fundamental requirement for me. Please provide a smooth drag-and-drop SL and TP option on both the web platform and the mobile app. It would make Dhan perfect!

Great trading features, low app quality
As a product, I love Dhan. So many trading friendly features - months ahead of competition. As someone who trades primarily via app, really poor quality experience when things go wrong - app freezes frequently, charts / live trades go missing multiple times a day & facing extremely slow load times intermittently( even within mumbai - 5G as well as high speed wifi )

App full of Bugs, poor support team
If you’re planning to invest your hard-earned money, stay away from this app. It is full of bugs. It won’t allow me to invest in mutual funds and keeps asking me to validate my KYC, even though I have done it multiple times and received a success message each time.
I contacted their support team to fix the issue, but they have wasted more than 30 days without finding a solution. Their support is not responsive at all, they keep saying, “We will call you tomorrow,” and then continue dragging even basic issues on for months.
Stay away from Dhan and consider other reputed broker apps instead.

App interface related
On the home page of the Dhan Mobile App, when I click on Portfolio Summary, in the section with options like All > Stocks > ETF > MF, the Stocks and ETF tabs show a very clean and consistent interface. For example, if I have invested in 4 stocks and 4 ETFs, all of them are visible on the screen without any need to scroll up or down. The Top-up option is also placed nicely at the bottom, which looks good.
However, in the Mutual Funds section, the interface looks very large, odd, and inconsistent. The Top-up option is placed at the top, which doesn’t feel right.

I hope you will pay attention to these small details and work on improving the user experience.

Dhan, Your app has been showing me profits every single day in mutual fund while my actual account is bleeding. How is that even possible? This isn't a glitch — it's a pattern.
Your ONE job is to show accurate numbers. I don't need fancy charts, dark mode, or smooth UI if the core data is wrong. Showing fake profits to someone who is actually losing money is not just a bug — it's misleading and dangerous.
I've had to manually calculate my real P&L because I simply cannot trust what your app shows. That's embarrassing for a fintech product.
Sort out your performance calculation logic ASAP. Until then, zero confidence in this app. Please don’t trust this Fintech

Not user friendly
When you have an open position, you don’t see the Live Prices right there but in tiny fonts below it. It takes 3-4 clicks to just open the Chart. After Using kite and upstox which are more trader friendly, this feels like a nightmare. The instant withdrawal feature also does not let you withdraw all the money, and that too takes 2 hours to process unlike Kite And Upstox which would he within 2-3 minutes. A complicated rich looking UI doesnt help my fast trading system, you get lost where to get the charts open and exit positions. The important buttons like Exit Position, Charts, Live price on a position are tiny illegible fonts. Literally wont recommend anyone.

MF Portfolio XIRR not updating and alerts vanished
Overall experience on the app is very good. Provides various features to enable smooth investment and trading. One very particular thing that i would like to suggest is Mutual fund portfolio XIRR option which is currently not updating correctly. Individual funds IRR is properly updating but the whole portfolio XIRR does not reflect correctly which is very frustrating. Also the alerts set were visible till yesterday but today just vanished
Please fix these bugs ASAP.

Good Stock Broker App Need Improvement
Recently onboarded Dhan app after knowing Pravin Jadhav is the founder of the company. Very good Onboarding experience. I was searching for app which is there in Iphone Ipad and better web experience. Dhan is right app. Many features are there which I was expecting in my previous broker app. Many positives but some improvements required 1. Colour combination UI needs much better, some menus and texts are so greyed out unable to find or distinguish. 2. Theme option should be extended to web portal and ipad, it is now in mobile app only. 3. Errors or some popup messages are very small and disappear so fast you can’t even read. 3. Mutual Fund investing should be available in web portal as well. 4. Biometric login in iPhone or ipad is not working even if it is enabled and registered. Every time it asks biometric enable but next time agin fallback to pin and asks again, plz fix this asap. Dhan vision is reflecting in its product s and surely grow. One more suggestion Have a separate Mutual Fund App apart from integrated MF in Dhan app. It feels important to see MF app clutter free, more focused and Goal based features. A real game changer for long term investors in equity but don’t want stocks.

In portfolio i want to hide it for whole time till i dont open eyes option in portfolio Whenever i click on eye it hide all details in portfolio but after closing app it again show all thing and eye open automatically i dont want to do always give a separate toggle example privacy on off which hide all details in portfolio its best.

Best and easiest knowledge accessible application. Data and news has been properly categorised and kept in a well structured understandable format. Thanks for keeping things aways from Demat accounts like FD and Loans like other apps are doing.
Dummy Short Position
Recently I had bought 22 ETF shares and when I planned to sold them it created a short position due to which I was totally scared but later I checked that this is just dummy position

High risk for trading
Exiting a futures trade showed “position closed”, but a hidden stop-loss wasn’t cancelled and later triggered, opening a new position on its own. Very confusing UI around stop-loss vs live orders, and cancelling orders doesn’t behave the way you’d expect. This is dangerous for leveraged trading. Needs much clearer order handling and safeguards. Lost a lot of money due to this, multiple times unwanted positions were opened automatically. Stay far away from this broker if you wish to trade futures.

As an investor, this app feels more functional and easy to use. Using this app for past 3 years and it improved a lot. Very useful for beginners to start investing.

This app feels like it is made only to collect users’ personal data. During documentation, it asks for extremely sensitive information like bank statements, which is completely unnecessary and unsafe. It honestly feels like a data-stealing app rather than a genuine investment platform.
I wasted a lot of time and effort completing their process, and in the end, the result was zero. No value, no benefit, nothing. This app is a total waste of time and should not be trusted.

This app hangs whenever it like
I’ve been using this app from last 2 years approx. and it’s been hanging since last 3 months for 10 days in a month, can’t use the app functions properly as it hangs again and again and I have to reboot each time to use it for 5 mins and then again it hangs and a pop up opens and only way to close that pop up is to close and login again

Gets stuck sometimes
I placed stop loss using the + button on charts and it got stuck (the app), just in that window itself. Things went south beyond where I wanted to place stop loss in moments as I had to completely close the app and login again. This happened almost 10 times today. The app just hangs. In stock market this kind of a thing is dangerous.

Great app but feels complicated
Overall a great app. But sometimes it feels complicated. Like when u search for a script , then go into option chain, then place order. After that u need to close many windows to get back to home screen.
Also since sometime, the chart stops working and shows a white screen instead of instrument chart. I recently changed my device but the issue is still there, so that might be app issue.

App not working on my 2nd iPhone
I’m giving it 1 star only to get the attention of the team,else this app is is a 4-5 star!! So on App Store it says that the app is compatible on my iPhone but after I downloaded it and tried to open it,it just showed a white screen for half a second and then get back to my iPhones Home Screen(iPhone’s Home Screen not Dhan) and no matter how many time I try it’s the same!! It work on my other iPhone and I love this app but it doesnt work on this iPhone,kindly do something about it !!
