This is one of the only apps that feel genuine, not just another money grab. All the features are very intentional amazing expanding your vocab or even if you wanted to learn a new language. โ please add African languages ๐๐ฝ
Amazingly customizable
Go-to dictionary for me: minimum adds, easy and plentiful definitions, synonyms, and more. Connects with wiktionary and has downloadable etymology and other language dictionaries! And it works offline.
Biggest gripe is that the starring system is not great with how bad the flash cards are, but everything else is spectacular.

The worst translation app ever!
The worst translation app ever! I bought the lifetime subscription mainly because it showed photos for every word I wanted to learn. However, over time, the photo feature stopped working. Now it either doesnโt load any images or shows tiny, blurry, low-quality pictures that canโt even be changed.
A clear, meaningful picture makes it much easier to remember the meaning of a new word, so this feature was one of the main reasons I paid for the lifetime subscription.

Problem downloading dictionaries
Every time I try to download a dictionary, I get this message: Error

I have said that before and Iโm still begging you because it didnโt happen yet, but please add the support of dark mode in the app because at this point I canโt really use the app comfortably. I love your app so much please do this.

Flash cards
Flash cards crash on you right in the middle of. Very annoying
WAS EXCELLENT, NOW BOMBARDS WITH LOUD ADS.
This has been an enormously useful, easy to use multi-language dictionary for years. BUT Iโm about to give it up: now nearly each time I look up a word, a pop-up video with loud music takes over my screenโ the type that runs a while before you can click out of it. Too much of a burden and irritation. If this behavior doesnโt end in a week or two , Iโll delete it. Will write another review either way.

Best Dictionary
Finally a dictionary app worth buying. Free version is good enough but the trial showed that itโs worth investing some money. Iโll buy the one time purchase. Now I can remove all those ad-ridden garbage dictionary apps. Dict Box does it better.

This is one of the best free dictionary apps I have used. It is very easy to use, fast, and works offline. I like that it provides clear definitions and helpful examples. It is very useful for people who are learning English and want to improve their vocabulary. I really appreciate the developers for making such a helpful app. Highly recommended.
