The best dictionary app
It’s crazy if you think about it. Almost 300k words and definitions for absolutely 0% and it’s easily browsable. I’m not advertising nor a bot but this is definitely the best free english dictionary app you’ll find in the app store.
Do not like new version
Gray search and lookup area are now gray and hard to see, too cluttered, icon at top right is off edge of screen. Wish Apple would let users downgrade to more useable version.
My recommended dictionary app
I love so many features of this dictionary: offline access, usage examples, synonyms, and direct links to related words. Some definitions do use the searched word, but overall it works well for me. I haven’t used another dictionary app on my devices since I found this one a few years ago. I love the simple, uncluttered interface, and the best thing is it is ad-free. Thank you Antony

Just realized I’ve been using WordWeb for free for 7 years and haven’t left a review! Great app, great UI, great definitions, easy to save bookmarks, it just works. Antony Lewis has made and maintained a high quality app for a long time at no charge.
