The best dictionary ever
I feel like I’ve had this app since the beginning of smart phone time. It’s been thru several phone upgrades and not once has it ever asked me to create an account or give it my email or phone AND it has never once lost all my cherished word bookmarks all these years. Upgrading phones now is no daunting task with all the accounts and handshakes you have to re-do. Thank you Farlex for being the one app that just gets it and is reliable decade after decade. I will be buying the ad-free version soon just to say thank you.

Garbage Bc Of Ads
I’ve used this app for the past 10 years and it has always delivered me info quickly. Now, it’s just a garbage app taken over by advertisements where you have to search for a tiny X somewhere on the screen to get out of it.

for the people
perhaps one of the few apps and services that were made for the people. it's free, fun (all the extra little facts and mini word puzzles), and to the point. seriously appreciate things like this in a world where every company is always trying to milk your time and money
Games!
Great app. I love the daily games, but the mismatch often malfunctions. Giving a score that should be perfect but becomes 3 of of 5. Maybe the squares are too narrow?
Great until…
This app was great until a very inappropriate add showed up. So I deleted it. If you get this app, plan on some inappropriate adds at some point. Not recommended for kids.
Suggestion
This app is awesome. I have been using the pro version since 2014, it is an invaluable tool for learning and educating myself.
I have one request, please bring the search tab bqr to the bottom of the interface. For which it would be more convenient and quick to use. Thank you for your help and support.

Throws an ad in your face thats impossible to close. I would gladly pay to stop having ads thrown in my face. Infact, I thought I had

I like the layout is still like the website so its easy to use. How they have extra word problems and articles us also very good. Plus the ads they do have arent overly the top obnoxious.
Great but annoying ads
Great dictionary! However, lengthy ads and their intrusive timing have become incredibly frustrating that I am forced to cut back on my usage.

It’s everything I wanted it to be and it has cool games to learn from! And I’m 58 years old.

Excellent application to look for the meanings of unknown words. I’ve using it for many years already and it’s been very helpful. 100% percent recommended!

One of the most comprehensive dictionaries I’ve used.
Excellent, and flawed
Its functionality as a dictionary and thesaurus would be hard to surpass. However, they also allow scummy scamware ads that pretend to be system messages from my phone. Ultimately, I decided that I’m more discriminating than that. Why would I lend my phone to such a vendor? So I deleted this app.
My Professional life depends upon the best
The dictionary is excellent / helps you find the word you search and in the des tiptop. Gives you a little extra. I love it. Not everyone has it either.
