Great newspaper - App does not work on iPad
I have the app on my iPhone where it works just fine, I have a year’s subscription. The app does not work on my iPad. I have repeatedly contacted Die Zeit and Apple. There is no help.
It’s pathetic, because I like the content of the newspaper. I’d give the newspaper 4.5 stars, the technical support 0 (zero) stars.

Ein desaster
Diese app ist ein desaster. Weder gibt es eine funktionierende suchfunktion, noch kann man artikel teilen. Ausserdem scheint die integration mit den anderen digitalen services komplett vergessen worden zu sein.
Not good
The old e-paper app is way better. This one is hard to use. There is no overview, you have to click through the articles and once you are reading the articles you can't go back to the start screen. If you want the PDFs you have to download them and find them on your phone. You can't read them from within the app.

Kein Querformat
Die App unterstützt kein Querformat. Und laut Support ist das tatsächlich sogar eine bewusste Entscheidung.
Hakt Viel und Navigation ist nicht intuitiv
Die App reagiert mit unerträglicher Verzögerungszeit und beim scrollen hakt es erheblich. Furchtbar.

„Leider ist diese App nicht funktionsfähig. Ich muss sie Woche für Woche löschen und komplett neu installieren, um die neue Ausgabe herunterzuladen. Die Nachfrage beim Kundenservice vor Wochen ergab, dass es unbestimmte Zeit dauern wird, bis das Problem behoben ist. Für mich absolut unverständlich. Daher: Finger weg von dieser App und das bestehende Abo ggf. fristlos kündigen. Schade, denn das Leseerlebnis dieser App ist an sich toll.”

Downloads funktionieren nicht!
Gleiches Problem wie bei anderen Nutzern, App muss immer wieder neu installiert werden, um überhaupt die neueste Ausgabe zu lesen. Alte Downloads sind dann nicht mehr da. Fehlercode 0/ Bitte in Ordnung bringen!

Have enjoyed this app until the most recent upgrade. Ever since then it's not starting up at all--and i just renewed my subscription. Disappointment.

Endlich
Die Zeit is bestimmt lesenswert, wenn man aber ausser den deutschsprachigen Gebieten lebt, ist es außer der Touristensaison schwer zu finden. Danke an das Zeit Team für die ausgezeichnete Arbeit!
UNSTABLE
diese wankelmütige App muss immer neu geladen und installiert werden. Sie ist ganz und gar unstabil auf der iPad. Ohne dieses ärgerliches Problem würde sie ausgezeichnet sein.

iTunes subscription does not work on iPad
Version 1.0.5 startet nicht mit iTunes Subskriptionen auf iPad. Löschen und wieder installieren hilft nur kurzfristig. Nach dreimaligem installieren gebe ich nun auf. Es ist mir nicht möglich zur Zeit die aktuellen Ausgaben zu lesen. Version 1.0.6 soll das Problem gelöst haben, ist aber nun schon in der dritten Woche nicht im App Store.

Doesn't work
Stuck at startup. Despite reinstalling several times it doesn't do anything but show the logo.

unfortuntately it's not doing anything after installing. looks like it is crashing. only thing you see is the title "die zeit". very poor. :-(
Great app
Thisis really comfortable reading of the zeit on an iDevice!!!
Impressive!
Clearly a lot of thought went into this app, and Die Zeit has hit the bullseye. An elegant, smooth running, application that's a lot easier to navigate than the physical newspaper and yet contains all the paper's content. Of the dozen or so newspapers and magazines I get on my iPad, I'd now rate the new Die Zeit application as clearly the best.
