I used DietBet for years. Just came back. They had zero engagement attempts. The coach was clearly a robot who was not participating except for the template. Then 77 out of 96 people won yet we only broke even- even though our game had a 300 add to the pot.

Payouts are not instant
If you win a DietBet the payout is not instant, it’s not even reasonably fast. It takes a few days for games to finalize, then you have to confirm your PayPal account, then you have to click on “payout” and THEN Waybetter tells me it takes 10 BUSINESS DAYS. Two weeks? Are you kidding me?
This sounds to me like DietBet is waiting for more bets to start because they’ve already spent the money and don’t have it. 2+ weeks for a payout is absolutely ridiculous. Something is off here.

When I need motivation to get my fitness going is this app. Money always motivates me
Small winnings, hard to withdraw
I hate this app. Don’t sign up. I signed up for a challenge. I won a whopping two dollars then when I tried to get my money back, including what I added to the bet, they gave me a hard time and it kept being rejected when I tried to cash out.
App is garbage
Good motivation to lose weight and win but the app kicks me out and has me log in every time, very frustrating
Another Tool in the “Weight Loss Toolkit”!
As someone who has “battled the bulge” for most of my life, I am often looking for tools to help me keep my weight in check. DietBet is a wonder tool to use to lose or maintain weight. The customer service is top-notch and the differing levels of support (weight loss, exercise, nutrition) has proven to be excellent!

Stole my money. Don’t do it!
Do not get involved with this betting app. It is a good motivator, but that’s all it is. Today I checked my account because I was going to use my balance to buy another round of diet betting, but when I got in I saw that they had taken my $82.78 aware and transferred it somewhere for no reason. Then again this July they cleaned out the rest of my $82.78 and stated that my “points expired”. I was in and out of the hospitals for multiple surgeries during the time period that my appoints apparently “expired” and it was not recommended for me to exercise consistently (enough to lose wait) and the surgeries had my weight plunging and skyrocketing and there wasn’t a scale at the hospitals for me to take a selfie on. Now I was using this as a kind of savings account that I could keep earning on when I felt the need to take a challenge. It might say it now that the points will expire, but it didn’t say that the last time I used the app. So they stole my $165.56 away from me. And you have to put your OWN MONEY IN. I could understand if it were reward money, but I actually had to pay to get into the diet games. Looking for a lawyer to start a class action lawsuit. Anyone interested to do it with us?

Warning- be careful!
I won the game. Afterwards, I opted to cash out the points and get money. My account shows the points have been deducted but no money has been deposited into any account that I have. I tried to contact customer support and the email is out of service. Sounds fishy to me! If I haven’t received my payment or a response that assures me they are working on it by tomorrow then I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Taking money in this manner is called theft!

Unfair - they will take your $100 & run
I signed up for Diet Bet to lose 4% body weight, which I BARELY hit. I submitted my final weigh-in and have been told that I need to resubmit because they can’t clearly read all the numbers on my scale. Well, that’s because the top lines on my digital scale are very dim but you can clearly tell what number is populating on the scale. I have been submitting weigh-ins for weeks on this exact scale & NOW that I’ve submitted my final weigh-in on the SAME SCALE I’ve been using the WHOLE time, they don’t want to accept it. And I can’t run out to the store to get the same one I’ve been using. I have to order it, which I could have done had they told me my scale was unacceptable in the first place.

Transferring funds without authorization
They did some update and arbitrarily decided to transfer my funds from WayBetter into DietBet, even though I had discontinued using the app so now I have to try to get my money out through PayPal to put back into WayBetter because they’re unable to reverse the transfer.
This is a scam!!
I won my game, received message that I won, did not receive the points. Sent in a email wondering where my winnings were. They responded with you didn’t final weigh in which I did and have the message saying final weigh in received.
Won My Money Back but Took Time to Receive It
I won my own money back (no profit) but I still have not received my payout. I contacted support and they acknowledged my payout was requested. I followed the troubleshooting steps and it took two weeks for it to be received.
Scam
I participated in a challenge and won and never received the payout. None of the contestants received anything and the pit was $134,000. Even if you do “win” the payout can be less than what you put in because the host takes 25%. Not sure how losing money motivates people to lose weight.
Win but no earnings
This used to be such a good app and when there were a lot of players you would win money. Now with 3220 players I only won $3. Why bother? Don’t waste your time with dietbet
Shady app
The app takes 25% of the bet so you’ll likely win very little or even lose money. That’s if you even get the payout. I requested a payout several days ago and have yet to receive it. I’m supposedly supposed to receive an email “for security purposes” which I never received. Don’t trust it with your info.

Scam
I paid $45 for a game and won $43.49. DietBet put an additional $5000 yet I ended up losing money. Seems kind of fishy to me.
