It is well worth it to purchase the full version of this app! I used this in combination with Inman and passed on the first time! Having the question explanations helped me actually learn the concept rather than just the answer to the question. I also liked how it gave you a score on the domains to help you identify where you need to study more. The quick 10 minute quizzes were awesome! So user friendly, I couldn’t recommend this app more!

A good time filler and decent questions
Most of These questions are not as hard as the harder questions in visual veggies but definitely as hard as the easier ones. But it is all very good information and definitely possible questions I think I might see on the RD exam. There is a good variety of information and I’m beginning to lean some of the managerial concepts like Maslows Hierarchy and similar theories. I love that it includes the explanation for why a question is right or wrong. This is a great study feature and helps cement the information. I read them every time even if I knew the answer because it explains the incorrect answers as well. I’ve also started memorizing some of the harder managerial food service questions like BEP, break even point. I wish there were more questions on things like what different labs indicate and more on medications. Also so far I’ve only gotten one question on mEq conversions for calcium. I’ve actually learned this one. If the others were included I’d be able to learn those as well. But I’d say it’s worth the $24. I also like that questions repeat. This is good for review and for learning ones I missed.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐️
I loved this app and truly felt like it was a game changer for passing my exam! I used the Inman Review to study, but the practice questions didn’t have explanations for the answers. Pocket Prep explains why your answer was correct/wrong and goes through each answer possibility. I liked how it asked the questions, too - highly recommend using in addition to other practice questions, too!

Crashes
I love the convenience of this ap but I have a major complaint. Every time I open my calculator on my iPhone, pocket dietitian crashes! It’s frustrating especially in the middle of a quiz. There’s also one question that asks about a food label but when you click on “see food label” it’s just a blank screen.
