App permissions need an overhaul
Of all the permissions this app lists as “necessity”, Health and fitness…There is no reason or applicable logic as to why this permission is necessary. Several others are in necessary, this is the worst offender.
Meal periods not showing
There’s soo many bugs on this app it does not show the meal periods for our dining hall, it just says “unable to for menu for ____”.
Visibility Poor
I like the app as I can see what’s being offered at our child’s school. Yet, an online portal that has lettering as if it is saving on ink! I can barely read the words! Why use light gray lettering?? As if you don’t want us to see it. This has been ongoing and makes it a good resource with terrible presentation

Poorly run app
I think this is a great concept and a useful app, however the app is hard to use, back buttons don’t work, and the app runs slow almost every time I open it.
Doesn’t work with VPN
App doesn’t work with VPN. Instant 1 start review. I can’t possibly imagine why an app that simply shows menus needs my ip. Bad bad bad.
Last Update Completely Broke It
This app was never all that good, slow, hard to use, just generally frustrating. Whenever there’s an update the app prompts you to update and there’s no way around it. The latest update as of August 20 2025 makes this app completely useless, it just gets stuck on the “loading locations” screen forever

STOP WITH THE UNNECESSARY UPDATES!!! i should not have to update the app every single time i try to open it.
Bad account page
I create an account and then can’t login because it says invalid. I can’t click forgot password to try and reset it even though I know it’s the same email and password I’m trying. The buttons don’t work the first time you click, and sometimes you don’t know if they work after that because it’s very slow. The “Eat” page is completely blank aside from showing the school name, but the other pages work.

The app could be buggy but was mostly fine for three years. This semester though none of the locations on campus appear on the app, even though when I check the website on my laptop everything shows up just fine.

Lack of ingredients
This app is great! Not only does it tell you when a store opens and how far it is, but it also tells you what’s in the food it serves there. The only problem is that the ingredients are not complete. When looking at what is in pancakes the ingredients are “pancakes” which although true isn’t very helpful. And the disclaimer that you should ask the people anyway makes what they are saying seem more like they are taking a guess and backing it up so that they can’t be blamed. I know it’s impossible to get every ingredient right, I would still love for there to be some confidence in the app. I hope that this can be sorted out as it is still an amazing app with this one thing holding it back.

Great for commuters on the dining plan
I live off campus but buy a package each term to help me grab meals on days when I have a long schedule and won’t have time to go home and cook. Being able to see the menus each day helps me decide if I want to go to the dining hall using a meal swipe on my card or instead go to one of the kiosks at the Student Union and use my flexible dining dollars there instead. Have been really happy with the food in both places and the healthy and tasty options. Big fan of the salad bar and all the meat and non meat options as well as gluten free and vegan and vegetarian plus the regular sandwiches, pizza, fried chicken tenders and burgers. Happy camper at Portland State University in Portland, OR

Buggy mess
Half the time I have to force stop the app because no matter what it just freezes. Not to mention the menus are never accurate, though I don’t know if that’s the apps fault per se

As the title suggests the app no longer opens and it just crashes right when you open it if you have your phone updated to iOS 18
