Complicating the uncomplicated
I mean log in and authentication is a basic thing that should work right?! Turning the convenience of the service into a frustrating experience with the app. I’d rather just phone the restaurant than tirelessly struggling to get the app to work.
Mixed bag
It seems the only game in town so to speak. I applaud them for their success in garnering so many restaurants in the Western Cape. However the lack of completion may hurt them as there is not a need to innovate and the app is less than intuitive in places and it seems you have to start a search over if you decide not to book a selection once you’ve gone two clicks in versus simply going back to search list.

Dine plan makes life so easy… I’m able to plan beautiful outings with my family and friends. I’ve also discovered some wonderful gems through the app. It definitely works for me.
Convenience and information at once
I love browsing various restaurants and their offers listed on the app. Nevermind the ease of making bookings without having to call cause I often think about it outside working hours 🤪 brilliant!
Can’t login on the app
Love the app, but I’ve been struggling to login for the past few months, it says: Failed to verify you with Google reCAPTCHA, please try again.
Developers need to use their app
Error messages provide no context as to why I’m facing an error. Then I log out, then login button doesn’t work to get back in. This app has been buggy for years
Easy, Convenient and Reliable
Love Dineplan. It’s so simple to navigate through and user friendly.
App has been faulty for 2 months
My app has been malfunctioning for 2 months. I’ve had to delete it and reinstall a couple of times. I can’t make bookings via the app half the time. My favourites list doesn’t show anything.
So convenient!

“We’re getting restaurants ready for you”
I like the app but all of a sudden the latest doesnt work. It keeps getting stuck at “We’re getting restaurants ready for you” and doesnt open thereafter this is slightly annoying for such a lovely app that i would deffo recommend
Useful and easy
We used this app for many of our bookings during our trip to Cape Town and surrounds. Really easy to use, and bookings made through the restaurants’ websites (before I got the app) also appeared once I had the app.
Would be useful if the app had the facility where you could put in your date and preferred time, and area, and the app would show you what options were available. As it stands you can only look at specific restaurants by name, or put in an area to see a list of restaurants, but then you need to click through to each restaurant separately to see if they have availability for when you want it, which is time consuming.
However, if a restaurant is shown as booked up on the date/time you want, it is still worth giving them a call as they can sometimes fit you in.
