App was always keeping us informed of all upcoming activities and important announcements.
Our first Disney cruise
We have had a absolutely amazing cruise and everything perfect except one thing that I feel could make it better is that they do something the same as the parks do and have something in place for disabled guests that cnt stand in big ques , like giving return times when Que to big etc that is my only suggestion that could make the cruise experience so much easier and better and also make the hall ways etc less crowded at one time .

Missing one key feature
Love the app but unless I missed it you can not order food- room service to your room via the app. I tried calling two times on the cruise only to be on hold over 15 (prob morel ile 20) mins each time giving up both times.

Sent my messages 15 minutes late by then it wasn’t worth it. I couldn’t connect with my family to text either

The app connectivity is terrible. The app is virtually useless the first day of the cruise—arguably the most important day to have the app while finding rooms and figuring out maps and schedules. The app is slow outside of the a Disney ship and the connection cuts in and out on the ship itself.

This app was very helpful on my cruise. The cruise director or the crew always put news on the app whenever you needed to know it. The map was very helpful and the bit where it told you what activities was on what day helped a ton.
Didn’t connect
I couldn’t get the app to connect once on board the ship. I wasted an hour of my free time the first cruise night waiting in line to get it fixed and ultimately guest services couldn’t get it working anyway. The next day my husband figured it out. Put a damper on my first night.

This app is so out of date. Confusing, badly labelled/ headed. Not enough info. Needs completely rewriting. Just not good enough - even the staff I spoke to agreed.

Unfortunately the app did not work consistently while on the cruise. It frequently would not update, it often would say that it was not connected, and when it did work the messages and updates would be very delayed.
If the app had worked as expected it would have been amazing, to have all the updates, but unfortunately it fell short.

During my Disney Wish Cruise, I constantly had issues with the app connecting to the local network. Every time I entered in the app would ask me to enable Local Network access on my phone, even though it was already enable.
This was extremely frustrating because it drained a lot of my phone's battery, and the app often took a long time to open and load.
Since we were using the app to communicate with the rest of our family while onboard, there were times when I needed to reach someone quickly, but opening the app and getting it to work was anything but quick.
For a cruise where the app is essential for family communication, l expected it to be much more reliable and responsive. This was definitely one of the frustrating aspects of our Disney Wish experience.

Sub-par app for Disney
Hard to navigate app that barely worked throughout the actual cruise. We sailed with 18 people in our group and only 4 of us had little to no disruption on the app during our cruise

Navigator App Stinks
1. While onboard, app constantly gives “Turn On Local Network” error and redirects you to Settings, even though the setting is already on. Guest Services recommended a work-around, but it didn’t work.
2. App takes forever to launch and requires constant retries.
3. If you sign in on a second device, then the settings on the first device are lost. For example, sign onto app on your iPhone and set up chat with everyone in your party. Then sign in on your iPad. Now all your chat history and contacts are purged.
4. App only works onboard if you’re on the guest network. To access AT&T ship roaming, you constantly have to toggle the Guest WiFi on and off. You won’t receive chat notifications if you toggle off the Guest WiFi.
I agree with DCL’s decision to save trees and not print cruise info, but requiring you to use their app is only workable if the app functions properly.

This app is fantastic before and during your Cruise.

The cruise was very fun. I enjoyed being able to go to two different islands. The buffet was delicious, but don’t forget about the drill.
Not consistent
While we were at the port the app worked fine but after we went out to see and in the islands u w out led be lucky to even be able to open it up. The schedule was helpful but that was it.
