This is not a real Audacity product. They have ripped off the logo and name for a recorder that has absolutely no editing or rate adjustment, and even the record quality is garbage. Don’t spend your money on this.
Rip Off why does Apple allow this app?
This is pure deliberate rip off of the Audicity app made for MACOS. It has the Exact copy of the Audacity logo used to fool you. App does nothing that isn’t already built into IOS.

Audacity is a fabulous sound editing tool. This app stole the name and icon. It has no relation to the well known and useful software package.

All you can do is record your voice like what the heck is that. The app on Mac is free and literally does so much more like??? I really just wasted 5 bucks. Why are they even charging 5 bucks for an app like this ?

This serves no purpose I have voice recording on my phone if I wanted to just record something. I wasn’t to be able to edit! 🤦🏾♀️

Waste of money. The app works as a recorder and that is IT.
Not the real Audacity
I paid five dollars for this app and it’s just a recorder. The audacity logo is used, but this is not the Audacity app that allows you to edit audio recordings. I am also unable to get a refund on this, so I am very upset with this purchase.
