Love this app, it’s a very easy way to have all my city related bills in one place. To keep track of and pay.
Terrible app
They purposely only take cards so they can charge a credit card convenience fee. They say they can take money from your checking account, but there’s always an error when you try which forces you to use your card and they get to collect the convenience fee.
What payment option?
Why give the option to use your bank account instead of a credit card and then deny acceptance without giving a reason. What was the reason? Should not have been denied. The appearance of money grubbing in the form of fees instead of helping your residents is wrong.

But looks like thats not available on this app - instead it paid the taxes for the coming year, which would have been nice to know, because back taxes still need to be paid. Also, this app doesn’t show the total balance of everything in your cart so I had to use a calculator to total it up. Not very intuitive in a way that affects me financially.

This app is a scam, state needs to investigate
Everytime I try to submit a payment via check it tries to charge me a credit card fee, state attorney needs to investigate this company I wonder how many millions the stole from their users. When I contact them they say just delete app and account and retry again, I should not have to do that every time I want to submit a payment. This can easily be solved by their devs but for years they have not.

What a nightmare
Over and over it identifies my bank account as a credit card and tries to charge the fee. Support tells me to delete and reload the app, which I’ve done countless times and still payments fail. After finally getting it to work the amount was not reflective of my current balance and now I owe pennies on numerous property’s taxes which this app won’t pay and the City of Detroit won’t allow payments of less than a dollar. Looks like I have to go downtown and literally pay this in person.

Month after month I log in to pay my water bill from my saved checking account. The system wants to charge me a processing fee. There should be no processing fee when paying from a checking account. Very frustrating.
Horrible
I entered my bank account and won’t take the payment, but debit card and a $8 fee took it with no problem. I went to chase bank to see why would deny my bank account. They stated that was the DivDat app not them.

Moved very slow and error kept popping up with my payments

I spent 2 hours adding and deleting payment data in order to have this app recognize my account number as a checking account, and NOT charge me a convenience fee!!!!!

Payment Processing Error
I have had this app since it came out. Every month I try to pay my water bill and every month I get a payment processing error. I try 3 or 4 times before going to the city’s website to pay the bill directly.
Difficult To Complete
3 times the kiosk kicked me out when I put in the state.
