Since my phone is updated. I can’t open or use this app. So it sucks not being able to use phone. Will you update it ? Thank you

Since the new update OS 11, I can’t use the camera. It is now just an expensive paperweight. There are still many out here and it’s a shame they don’t work. We all don’t have the money to get new DJI Phantoms every time you put out a new one. Help us out and please update the FC40 app.

My FC40 app just quit working because these guys quit providing updates. How can I ever buy another DJI product if they are cutting off support rendering my camera useless. Nerds for sure.

I don't even know what this app will do. It won't even open. First it asked that o connect to WiFi. Did that, then it told me to go to Setting>WiFi>Camera.

Hope this helps. App does work. Reports of the camera not showing up as a wifi device on you phone is true- unless you have Bluetooth turned on when you're trying to discover the camera on Wi-Fi. When Bluetooth is turned on then magically it shows up on the Wi-Fi list of devices to connect to.to save battery life on your phone then you can turn off Bluetooth and it stays connected as a Wi-Fi device. Very puzzling.DJI needs to fix this as well as it would be nice if the included a discovery option built into the app so I don't have to go to settings each time I want to pair up with Wi-Fi.

App crashes often and constantly loses connectivity, even when at close range.

I use the app with an iPhone and it works great. When it goes out of range it will start a new video clip but it keeps recording. I use it to also capture stills from video.

Has major flaw
When the camera gets out of range it stops recording onto the SD card which is a major issue. You will lose much of your footage if you are in FPV mode. Otherwise it's ok.
Horrible app
crashes, can't find it on the network half the time. Don't even want to go into the limited range it has. DON"T buy this garbage or their hardware!
Fc40 works great
Mine works great. I am real excited to use this when the winter breaks. I was even able to record my Phantom getting stuck in a tree.
