Used to be great, but iOS 26.2 broke it

I used to use this app all the time to manage my custom DNS, but Apple’s latest update killed it. I’ll edit this review once the developer fixes the app—I just want to warn people in the meantime.

Výborná aplikace pro správu DNS

Výborná aplikace pro správu šifrovaných DNS v MacOS. Umí přepínat mezi různými profily a dokáže DoH a DoT. Za mně must have aplikace! Díky za ní!

What does DNS Security Pro do?

DNS Security Pro encrypts your DNS queries using protocols like DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT). This process secures your internet connection by ensuring that your requests to translate domain names into IP addresses are private and protected from eavesdropping, data manipulation, and tracking.

What are the key features of DNS Security Pro?

The app supports DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS without needing VPN configurations. You can add your own custom DNS servers for flexibility, choose from various trusted service providers like Google or Cloudflare, and benefit from a privacy-focused approach that does not collect user information.

How much does DNS Security Pro cost?

Based on the provided information, this application is a paid app. There are no mentions of in-app purchases or advertisements, indicating a one-time purchase model for the Pro version.

Is DNS Security Pro compatible with my device?

The description specifically mentions that the 'full example' and advanced features like custom URL schemes are part of the 'iOS Pro version only'. Therefore, compatibility is primarily with iOS devices, specifically the Pro version.

What are common use cases for DNS Security Pro?

A common use case is to enhance online privacy and security by preventing your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network administrators from seeing which websites you visit. It also protects against malicious actors who might try to intercept or redirect your DNS requests to phishing or malware sites.
