Request For Bringing Back Features That Once Were Free
Dear Readdle Team,
I have always appreciated Documents and have supported the app for over a decade. I have also welcomed its updates over the years. However, after installing the latest update as I upgraded to ios 18, I was disappointed to discover that many essential PDF tools are now available only with the Pro version.
Features such as merging documents, converting photos to PDF, rearranging pages, extracting pages, and many other core PDF tools were among the main reasons I chose and continued using Documents. Seeing these fundamental features moved behind a paywall was something I genuinely did not expect.
As a long-time user, this change has been very discouraging. I even regret updating the app because the free version no longer provides the functionality I relied on. These tools were not just nice extras—they were the primary reason I recommended Documents to friends and family.
I am honestly confused as to why these essential features are no longer available in the free version. I can no longer recommend the app to others, as the features they would most likely need are now restricted.
I sincerely hope you will reconsider this decision and restore at least some of these core PDF tools to the free version. Documents has been my favorite file management app for many years, and I would love to continue using and recommending it as I always have.

Use on all my devices for years
I like to extract mp3 from video. The player is great for offline listening. I enjoy the browser feature n ability to connect to my laptop to transfer files

دوستان به ورژن جدید آپدیت نکنید. یکی از بهترین ویژگی های برنامه که ارسال فایل و فولدر بوسیله گزینه nearby بود از گزینه ها حذف شده، بوسیله این گزینه بدون روشن کردن Airdrop میتونستیم وقتی به یه شبکه داخلی وصلیم با سرعت بالا هر چیزی رو برای شخص دیگه ای بفرستیم. متاسفانه داکیومنت این گزینه کاربردی رو تو آپدیت جدید حذف کرده

Undisclosed Fees After First 7 Days!
Listing in AppStore said only “In-App Purchases,” implying that it’s a free app with possibly optional add-ons that would cost extra; standard model I’ve encountered in MANY APPS over years. Instead, when I opened your Documents app, I was summarily informed that I had 7 days free trial period, after which I would be charged monthly fees!! I never agreed to that, and it wasn’t at all specified in the AppStore listing; that’s FRAUD!! Well screw that, I’m deleting your app, and after further exploration of the standard Files app I found that it could do everything I was looking for in your app anyway!

Exceptional tools and customer support
I've been on Documents for almost a decade, and the new tools they integrate are always very useful. But what I was most pleased with was the customer support.
Call me a cynic, but I rarely expect a response, much less a timely one, and even less a helpful one.
The few times I have reached out with a concern, I was replied to with 24hrs with some one dedicated to helping me get the full experience.
