The app could be much better
I’m hoping that in writing this, they’ll think about how people use their product and make some changes.
First, the preprogrammed routines are not very useful. I don’t want my dog changing pace all the time. What would be useful is if I could program them myself for each dog. Not up and down and changing pace all over the place, just a nice easy trot at the pace my dog needs.
Second, if it’s not possible to change the preprogrammed routines, simply save the last pace I used for each of my dogs in the app (or allow me to choose my desired speed for that particular dog) so that I can select my dog and it will quickly go to the desired speed without pushing the buttons over and over and over. Then when it’s the next dog’s turn, go to the correct speed for that dog. So there should only be two buttons to push…select your dog and start.
Those changes would make this brilliant.

Horrible app! NOT SAFE
Nothing is accurate on in the logs of the dog. The screen showed 10 minutes of walking but the app broke it into 2 sessions one of 4 minutes another of 20 minutes.
It is also unsafe for the dog because even if you press stop in the app, it will try to restart immediately. If you want it to stop, pull the red auto safety off the machine.

Piece of junk!
This dog pacer app is a piece of junk! It never sinks properly, it takes off and will not slow down and next thing you know it’s at the speed of 10 and you have to stop the entire treadmill with the emergency stop and that is dangerous because it stops suddenly. If you’re going to sell a treadmill and an app to go with it, they should work together. This thing is dangerous and a total piece of junk. Save your money and buy the less expensive treadmill because you can’t use this app anyway! What a disaster!

Terrible app
Connect the app to the Pacer, enter the dog’s information, hit the start button, then at the 2 second mark it disconnects EVERY time. Hit the contact button to get help - the email address doesn’t even go to the company that developed the app. The company I emailed, gave me the address to the developer, emailed them, no response. I’ve also emailed DogPacer directly and gotten no response.

App History
There are many things I really like about the design of the app. Connects easily and simple menus.
A couple of things to fix:
1. The graphs showing the workout history seems to not carry forward on a month-to-month basis. The year to date number accumulates but the monthly history goes away when you roll into a new month.
2. When using the machine, the time and speed seems to sync well with the treadmill, but the distance is always behind. The distance shown on the treadmill console is always further than what is on the app.
Fixing these couple of items would be really helpful.
