Worth the money
Tried several similar apps and this one was the most comprehensive for tracking everything you can think of, from medications, to naps, to vaccinations, and more. The nap timer was especially useful for when our pup was young, and the medication tracker when they got sick. Each field is very customizable and really helps you notice patterns in your dog that you can share with your veterinarian.
The fact that both my partner and I could track and see what the other had done (and add notes) is incredibly useful.
Would recommend for pet parents who are very health and training focused.

Life saver for new pet owners
We used this app for the first six months that we had our new puppy and it made it super convenient to keep track of the important stuff like potty breaks, sleep/crate timers, meal times/amounts, and keeping track of his weight. We’ve gotten to the point now where we no longer need such stringent tracking of this stuff and can be a little more flexible with durations between meals and potty breaks, but I would recommend this app to anyone getting a new pet. I wish we had this for our first dog too!

Efficient and Useful
I have been using this app for several months and find it very helpful for keeping track of the assorted Dog Tasks and behaviours. It helps us stay on top of who fed the pup last and how long it’s been since he last went out and whether he is due for a nap and that’s perhaps why he’s being a toolbag (you know, puppy stuff). Anyway, yeah. I like it a bunch, you know that to do!

Too many bugs to justify paying
I got the paid version of this app so my partner and I could share information about when our puppy last used the bathroom, ate, or took supplements more easily, especially on days when our schedules were very different. I’m also a data scientist and biologist, so I liked the idea of getting graphs and heatmaps of my dog’s behaviors and progress.
I first got Doggy Time in Sept/Oct 2025, and it worked relatively well for the first couple months. There were a few minor bugs like her breed not updating in the summary or insights sections. However, in the past two months (starting ~April 2026) the app has become more and more buggy, affecting the core functionality. Most frustrating is that the app now frequently logs you out without any clear notification that you’re logged out (ie, it doesn’t prompt you to log back in upon opening), so it’s not sharing events across users in my “team” - the whole reason I pay for it. Then, since the app doesn’t have you set a password, and instead sends you an email with a passcode, I have to wait for that to come through in order to log back in. All while trying to get my puppy to stay still and get her paws wiped off, or not eat any plants in the backyard. I’ve also had about 75% success in actually receiving the passcode via email (and yes, I’ve checked spam).
There’s also issues with syncing between Apple watch entries and the phone app, which aren’t as important to me, but it does sometimes mean I’m missing important data for some time.
The GPS tracking during walks is problematic as well, and I regularly have to correct the distance we walked with the more accurate tracking from my fitness app.
I feel like I’m doing all the work of entering (and correcting) the data AND paying for the app, while the product I expected keeps declining in quality. I will be canceling my subscription before it renews again.

Very well built
I’m a software engineer and new puppy mom. This app is not only incredibly useful, it’s also really well designed and well built. Kudos to your engineers, product managers, and designers! This is an app worth paying for.
Fundamental app for puppy parents
Used this app for two years and it was a lifesaver! Absolutely vital for puppy parents working on preemptive potty training. Ability to sync between multiple humans on the same dog is also a fantastic feature, and appreciate how it doesn’t cost extra to add a partner.
Ads NOT family appropriate
The app seems simple and solid but within 3 min of download inappropriate apps were available. Not what I was to promote for my kids to use.
New update May 23, 2026 - bricks app
Developer claims that the update fixes the sync issue however now my pet has disappeared completely. I have a paid account. Clearly they don’t test anything before release.
New update today bricks sync again
Developer said new update would fix the issue except it introduced an entirely new issue.
Now your pets just disappear completely from the app. It doesn’t matter if you’re invited again to manage a pet, sometime during the day the pet will just completely disappear.

Scummy
These jackwagons slipped in a made up limit on the number of ‘timed’ sleeps you can do for ‘free’ that wants to force you to pay for their app to continue using.
Update
Been using this for quite some time and happy with it until now. Seems this latest update won’t allow people in my household to sync data for a single pet. Have tried all suggestions such as logging out and back, making sure we are all on the same account, re-syncing, etc. if this isn’t fixed soon not only will I be very upset as it will end up being a waste of paying for something, but also very sad as I truely liked the app

Didn’t know I needed it until I needed it
I’m fostering a sick, nursing cat, with her 5 newborn kittens. This app is the perfect place to record daily weight of the kittens, the mama’s vet appointments, and to log her meds
Can’t edit times
It’s a great app to track times, but you can’t backtrack or edit times. The editing option is not saving, which is a problem
Response from developer
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We are looking into it ASAP.
Essential for puppies
This app was amazing for our this past year with a new puppy. The family plan was nice because it got us all on a schedule. Would definitely recommend to all pet owners, not just dogs. It’s a great pet health management tool.
Game changer
This is helping so much with tracking my puppy’s activities. It keeps a live activity on my Home Screen and in the island at the top of the screen with a timer for how long he’s been sleeping/crated. This is making having a puppy while I’m working from home a lot less chaotic, and he’s thriving with the structure.

Great for early puppy days!!
This has been really helpful in tracking my new puppy’s habits (sleep, eat, play, toilet etc). Definitely helped me see patterns so I could avoid accidents and adjust our day accordingly. I’ve only had the app a couple of days but I will be using much more of the features in depth (like training!) as my puppy grows.

Lifesaver
This app was exactly what I needed when I brought my 10 week Scottie home in May 2025. All of the options to track helped ease my anxieties and helped me be the best new puppy parent I could be.
New update makes it less usable
When ending crate time it now requires more clicks to do then before making it more cumbersome. It should be one click to start crate and some click to stop crate as this is something you to several times a day for nap times. Please make this quicker and easier much appreciated.
I like it but bugged?? Events dropped
I like this app a lot, but im noticing that events Im logging sometimes randomly disappear or get deleted. I log consistently throughout the day and I noticed today that all my events from 2:30-7pm got wiped. I went to previous days and saw similar random lapses. Please fix it or I can’t justify paying for it going forward

Best for organizing, a little slow
I love this app so much but awhile back it started running super slow. Hoping that will get better again on a future update. I really like the way this app organizes information. The only other thing I would change is to let me archive pets instead of marking them deceased. We have a lot of fosters that come through, and I don’t want to mark them deceased when they get adopted 😆
