A disservice to your delivery drivers- your risk management team should be downsized
Giving the customer a maximum of 70 characters to provide instructions to the delivery driver creates needless risk. I live in a three Plex that looks identical to other three-plexes in my neighbourhood. There is constant confusion about my address, specifically the unit number, because according to Google, I have two other addresses on top of my address. the driveway to the building is also very warped and can scrape the undercarriage of low suspension vehicles, even normal cars, so I’m simultaneously trying to give them instructions to protect their property as well as how to find my property. How am I supposed to fit all of that information in under 70 characters? <-this question is literally over 70 characters long for comparison.
Your risk management team should know better than to allow such little communication between customer and delivery driver. Fix this!
