Perfect Music App
Doppler allows me to put the albums I like on my phone so I can listen to them when I am away from home. I like the way it displays the albums plays them.
Needs to support metadata
insists on sorting your albums, the way you do not want to sort them, by a tag that isn't relevant to most albums. Also does not see all of the tags on files that it imports.
Please fix CarPlay
This is almost the perfect app, i love everything about it but one thing. And this one thing is the reason I haven’t switched to it. I have this issue where when I accelerate from a stop when driving, the app completely crashes and takes me to the home apple CarPlay menu. I noticed someone else has this issue. If this can get fixed I will easily buy this in a heartbeat, it can be an amazing app

I hate seeing an add for Apple Music every time I opens the app. I have a terabyte of music and I’ll still own more as I wish.

CarPlay crashes while vehicle accelerating
Love the ability to quickly import from cloud storage.
Biggest issue is that it’s unusable in the car. The app consistently crashes when the car is accelerating from a stop. It seems about the same speed that other apps prevent you from using the CarPlay on-screen keyboard or scrolling, except in this case the whole app just closes. It’s too distracting to try and relaunch while driving, so I just don’t use it. I really hope this is fixed soon.

Hello I love your app but please let us our own pictures for playlists and collections. Also let us manually order the albums on a collection, i don't want them to just be alphabetical. It would also be cool if we could write in the lyrics. Other than that great app!!

This is exactly what I've been looking for on iOS. I can even transfer files on Fedora without issue.
Beautiful App but …
This is a wonderful app and I enjoy using it with my iPhone; however, it is impossible to use with CarPlay as it crashes every 30-45 seconds. This seems to be an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed. As it is, it is flawed.

Would be 5 star but…
This app is nearly perfect, almost a 5 star, but it desperately needs individual buttons to remove songs, and a single button to remove all songs, right now i have to delete the entire app and re-download if I want to start fresh. Additionally, a button needs to be added to add all songs to a playlist, so if I want to add every available song, I don’t need to individually add each one. Small things, but for me it would make a huge difference and Doppler would be an easy 5/5

A great option for local music libraries
After years of frustration using Apple’s Music app for my local music library I switched to Doppler and have never looked back. While title scrolling and large tile album art would be a welcome addition I can’t fault any of it, especially the variety of formats supported and in-app meta data editing. Recommended!

CarPlay issues
The fix someone posted to help with CarPlay doesn’t work. Everytime my vehicle makes a complete stop and then I go, the music stops. App hasn’t had an update in over 10 months. Don’t buy. Developer may have just took the money and ran.

Amazing!! But…
This app is by far the best music player on IOS. The UI and layout is perfect, it’s super easy to sync music to it via iTunes and its ease of use is so much better than all of the other options out there. I have been experiencing some major problems though that have prevented me from fully singing it’s praises. The app consistently crashes whenever my phone rests and goes to the lock screen. To circumvent that I just leave my phone on and don’t let it rest, but that causes my phone battery to drain really fast and get super hot. When navigating other apps while listening to music on Doppler, I get consistent, super heavy lag which makes using my phone and listening to music at the same time basically impossible. I have an iPhone 13 Pro, which is admittedly a bit of an older phone at this point, but i’ve had no problems with other music player apps & even apps in general with them crashing or lag so it has to be something that’s wrong with this app. Overall I really love this app, it’s so close to being perfect, but it’s got some major snags that make it hard to recommend to people.
