Needs etiologies

Accurate and comprehensive. Lacks etiologies, a feature that I consider essential. Cannot find Latin or Greek roots of terms.

Not impressed at all. Almost no photos and very little pronunciation

Med dictionary

Good, certainly adequate. I can’t even fathom all that it has to offer.

Amazing App!

Best in the business for medical terminology.

Recommended for medical students & doctors

Very nice dictionary , recommended for every medical student & doctor.

Always an answer

Thanks

Excellent resource

Very useful

Educational

Very good educational app for medicine.

Convenient

Always has what I need!

Dorland’s

Dorland’s has been my favorite since the 1980’s, because the definitions are clear in a full-bodied way that doesn’t leave info out. The major competitor is Steadman’s, which I find a little dry.

Best dictionary

Dorlands is the best dictionary in my opinion. I’ve used Mosby’s, Stedman’s, and still like Dorland’s best. Did medical transcription for 20+ years and had dozens of reference books.

Helping a Newbie Understand

I often use the app in order to help me understand the scientific lingo I encounter whenever I read anything scientific-related. The only downside is that trying to understand a term, another difficult term is embedded in the definition, which soon prompts me to look up the new term (can you say, focus?).

Lack of definitions and photos

I purchased this long time ago as a student and now I use again this for reference. I frustrate this lack of terms and nothing photos for explanations. Hopefully you(the company) add more terms and photos for users. Thanks for your efforts!

Professional Use

I thought the app was for medical professionals. So, I am disappointed
