Favorite app by far
Even not having the premium + package with dot is still great with neat features, such a good app.
Read this before buying
Bought the band love the feel and comfort of wearing it all day. Tap to share is more like hover slowly to find the sweet spot but once you do it is great for networking.
However, DO NOT buy the subscription. I did and it said payment was successful and nothing happened. I got charged for it. Contacted customer support and informed them about it. After many emails back and forth. Screenshots showing I paid for it and it clearly stated it was successful that there was an error processing the data to restart app or contact customer support. Did all the above and restarted my phone.
What did dot customer support do? Absolutely NOTHING!! No refund or credit. They just said unsubscribe and resubscribe. Definitely unsubscribed but didn’t resubscribe because I refuse to pay twice.
Just beware!!!

Love the dot band / App is abysmal
I like the dot band, it makes it easier to connect with people and I’m connected with probably 15 people since I bought it. However, in the app, it shows zero connections from the last three months.
Doesn’t show me anyone, even though I’ve gone to many networking events and connected with people who needed my help.
Extremely frustrating, like at that point I’d rather just give them a business card if the technology isn’t gonna work. It’s kind of the whole point of the band is to have an app that you can track who you’ve connected with.
The developers absolutely dropped the ball with this and I probably won’t use the band going forward.

Can’t add cards
I just left a networking event and trying to scan my cards into dot but the app keeps freezing on me. Any suggestions.
Rip off
Subscribe and the charged me for 2 months and didn’t get the options available when you subscribe. Customer service agents didn’t care. They said to unsubscribe and re subscribe. Hence the 2 charges. Don’t waste your money. Half the time it takes forever for the other persons phone to recognize the band. Just stick with business cards.

Waste of money
Well I thought I found something cool and interesting to share my contact information but the free version is limited. I signed up for the paid subscription and the paid features won’t work. Support says no subscription but I have been charged through apple and even sent screenshots of the active subscription. Don’t waste your money or time!!

Forced Subscription for Contact Export
I purchased the metal DOT card hoping it would be a durable, professional networking tool and specifically chose the metal version over the less expensive plastic card because I expected it to last longer and hold up better to daily use.
Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
Contacts collected through DOT do not sync to my phone’s contacts, so people whose information I have collected still appear as unknown callers unless I manually create contacts. Exporting contacts requires a paid subscription, which significantly reduces the value of the product for me. I was surprised to find that basic contact portability is treated as a premium feature.
I have also been disappointed in the durability of the metal card. The finish and paint on the back of the card around the QR code have already begun to scratch and wear under normal intermittent use. Ironically, I upgraded to the metal card for longevity, but based on how quickly the finish is wearing, I suspect the less expensive plastic version may actually hold up better cosmetically over time.
The card does successfully share my information, but between the durability concerns and the subscription requirement for contact exports, I do not feel the metal card delivered the value I expected for the price.

Slow app, not worth it. Doesn’t even open the contacts.
The mobile version barely loads, and the mobile doesn’t even do it
In the past it was great but now, yeez, it’s a pain the *** to try to open a new contact

Andriod Users
I purchased this for someone who uses android and they don’t have it available for them. This is missing so much potential because of this.
I don’t align with the business model
I bought a dot card for $30 on Amazon and after setting it up, I don’t feel that I’m getting a good value. I can’t remove the dot card branding without spending $15/mo or $144/yr, making my profile look unprofessional. It’s cheaper to buy business cards. I unfortunately will have to return the dot card.

Got mine today
Super light super compact and looks nice against my Apple Watch band. Super easy setup thrilled to now save $ on printing business cards.
Amazing app
This app is great much better than the website. Easy to use and insights are nice as well. Very pleased - owensmobileweldingllc
Great product and great app
The Dot Cards app is just as amazing as their products. This is by far the most reliable and easiest way to share and collect contact information.
Login button cover up by keyboard
I can’t log into the app because the keyboard doesn’t drop to give me access to the login button.
