About

DoughRatio is a baker's percentage calculator designed for serious bread bakers. Enter your flour weight or target dough weight and DoughRatio calculates every ingredient automatically. Built-in fermentation timers with push notifications keep your bulk fermentation and proofing on schedule, even when you step away from the kitchen. The levain and sourdough calculator helps you dial in your starter ratios, while the flour substitution guide makes it easy to swap between bread, whole wheat, rye, and other flours. Scale any recipe up or down with the batch scaler, and share recipes instantly via QR code — no account required.

Bread on the table at six: plan backwards. • Plan My Bake. Pick when you want the bread ready and Dough Ratio works the whole bake backwards: when to mix, when to shape, when to light the oven, with an hour to cool at the end. Every step gets a clock time. • Your kitchen, not a textbook kitchen. Tell it how warm the room is and the bulk and the proof stretch or shrink to match: at 20 °C fermentation runs about 40% longer than at 24 °C, and the plan says so. • A night in the fridge. Switch on the cold retard and the final proof becomes the hours you choose in the fridge, so an overnight loaf still lands on time. • Reminders. One notification at the start of every step that is still ahead, and the plan sits on the home screen showing what to do now and what comes next. • Plan a bake from the Home Screen quick actions. • If Dough Ratio is helping, it may ask you for a rating with Apple's own star sheet, at most a few times a year, never mid-bake. Your recipes, ingredients and settings carry straight over.
