What's New in ToneScape
1.1
September 15, 2026
Ten additions. Your session history carries straight over. • Remembers where you left off. Frequency, waveform, ambience, volumes and modes come back exactly as you left them. • My Sounds. Save a mix with a name, load it later, share it as a code. Plus a preset browser by category. • Isochronic pulses. Rhythmic pulses from 0.5 to 40 Hz that work on speakers, no headphones needed. • Ambience intensity. Rain harder or softer, waves rougher or calmer, more or fewer birds. • Sleep timer, rebuilt: any length, accurate to the clock, a gentle fade-out over the last minute, a fade-in on start, and it tells you when it stops. • Type a frequency. Tap the readout to enter Hz, nudge by tenths, or pick a musical note. The readout now shows the note you're on, and it sits below the status bar on every iPhone instead of hiding behind it. • Siri and shortcuts: "Play rain in ToneScape", "Play a frequency", "Sleep timer", "Stop ToneScape", and long-press the icon for your last sound. • Lock screen fixed: play/pause works while playing, and playback resumes after a phone call. • Easier on the battery when idle, Reduce Motion respected, and VoiceOver can turn the dial one semitone at a time. • If ToneScape is doing its job, it may ask you once for a rating — never mid-session and never when the sleep timer put you to sleep. "Don't ask again" means it.
