The biggest update yet. Everything you saved carries straight over. It finally sounds like music • Snap every pixel to a musical scale, choose a root note, and pick a timbre: sine, triangle, square or saw. • Row Chords mode plays each row as one chord, so a 64×64 image takes seconds instead of minutes, and it still decodes. • Stereo panning, a lush reverb for playback, five scan directions, a scrubber and a loop. • Record with the microphone and turn any sound into an image. • Signal Fidelity: every conversion is decoded back and graded, S to F. New in 2.1 • Air Transfer. Every export now starts with a short pilot tone. Record another phone playing a WaveVision sound and the decoder lines itself up automatically, so images travel through the air. • Paint a Sound. Draw on a 32×32 canvas and hear it as a spectrogram: columns are pitch, rows are time. • Hear the Camera. Point the phone at anything and listen to it as a living chord. Keep any frame as an image to convert. • A real Library. Exports live in Documents (visible in the Files app), with thumbnails and fidelity grades. Play, share, share as .wvision, decode again, rename, or show the key as a QR code. • QR settings keys. Show your key as a code and scan one with the camera. The key is still required to decode. • Save your own presets beside the six built-in ones. • Personal bests: your best fidelity per preset, with a note when you beat it. • Cancel a conversion, with a progress bar, instead of waiting for a 128×128 synthesis to finish. • WAV export and image sharing are back where you can reach them. • iMessage sharing works: the Messages extension shows your exports and recipients see the details. • iPad: all orientations and a two-column layout. The splash screen can be tapped away and respects Reduce Motion. VoiceOver reads the pixel grid. Fixed • The pixel grid and exported videos showed white as 50% grey. • Error messages read as sentences instead of "error 0". • Video exports were labelled as audio in the history. • If WaveVision is doing its job, it may ask you once for a rating, never while you are in the middle of something. "Don't ask again" means it.
