About
Doze answers one question: does the thing you changed actually help you sleep?
Pick one small change — magnesium, an earlier dinner, no caffeine after 2pm, phone out of the bedroom. Doze reads your nights from Apple Health, asks for one tap each morning, and gives you a first read within a week.
No streaks. No sleep score. No dashboard of numbers you have to interpret yourself.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Name one change, the way you'd say it to a friend.
2. Sleep. Apple Health fills in each night automatically.
3. Tap once each morning — bad, okay, or great.
4. Around seven nights in, Doze shows an early signal — what has moved and what has not.
5. It keeps watching until the pattern is solid enough to call, then gives you a plain verdict.
WHAT YOU GET
• An early read after about a week, so you are not waiting in the dark
• A plain-language verdict — "worth keeping" or "probably not" — with the evidence sitting right under it
• Your nights compared against your own usual sleep, not a population average
• A confidence reading, so you know when the pattern is real and when it is still forming
• Notes for the nights that need context — a late flight, a bad day
• One experiment at a time, on purpose. Two changes at once tell you nothing.
BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY
Doze is not trying to become your morning routine. It asks one question a day and then leaves you alone. There is no feed, no streak to protect, and nothing to lose by skipping a night.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your sleep data is read from Apple Health on your device and never written back to it. Raw Health samples stay on your phone. There is no account to create.
If you use optional AI wording, Doze sends aggregate sleep metrics to produce that wording. When you ask for experiment suggestions, it may also send your experiment labels and limited history so it does not repeat ideas. Raw Health samples and your notes stay on your device and are never sent. Doze also uses coarse, non-identifying product analytics to improve the app.
Doze requires Apple Health sleep data, which means an Apple Watch or another device that records your sleep.
