Very disappointed
I was really excited to try Dragon’s Lair on iPad, having fond memories of the original arcade classic from the 80’s. Unfortunately, this version is a big let-down. The magic, charm, and smooth animation that made the original so unique just aren’t here. The controls feel clunky and unresponsive, and the pacing doesn’t capture the excitement of the original gameplay. You need super fast reactions to even get anywhere
For a premium price of £4.99, I expected something faithful to the original experience, with fluid animation and responsive controls. Instead, it feels like a rushed port that doesn’t do justice to such an iconic game. Unless you’re buying purely for nostalgia and don’t mind a compromised experience, I can’t recommend it — it’s not worth the price.

Great!
No problems for me, works as it should.
I sound at all
Pathetic, and I’ve searched any reason why there would be no sound. Crushed my 10yo who loves Dragons.
Would give it a zero
Won’t even download on top of the line pad and 2 gig net. Watch out. Maybe it should charge you the 5 bucks once it actually runs
Amazing!
This game was amazing
It’s 2021…get it together!
The app has awesome graphics but still in 2021 does not support Xbox controller! Why is this game being crippled by lack of controller support? Save your money until this support is allowed, you spend the entire game staring at the movement pad instead of enjoying the graphics.
You can’t watch the game
The yellow flashes that show you what direction to push are on the bottom left of the screen. So that’s where you have to be looking the entire time. You don’t see anything that’s going on. I played this at the arcade back in 80’s when it came out and loved it. That is not what this is. If you want that nostalgia, get it on Xbox One.

Way to fast to enjoy the game...I really want a refund
This was fun for the first few seconds going down memory lane with this game. But you can’t react quick enough to enjoy the game like the original. They need an update to slow it down a little for the easy level at least. Don’t buy I should have read the reviews before this impulse buy. Lesson learned.

I SPENT 1 HOUR ON THE ELEVATOR PART!
Even with Easy Mode The TIMING Is So STRICT
Can’t Complete
Locks at certain points and you can’t win
Please add 🎮 Controller Support 🎮
Wonderful game that takes me back to the arcade days of my youth.
A settings option to swap the directional arrows / sword buttons to opposite sides would be helpful.
Also, I would love to see controller support added to the app, now that iOS supports wireless controllers... 🎮

Please refund my money!!!!
This game does not work... I am stuck for months, there’s a bug or something,,,,
Keeps locking up
Great game but about 3/4 of the way through it keeps locking up.
Bug prevents progress
I have made it through all the rooms and am now on a 9 level elevator. I correctly hit the 9 L/R moves and dirk still crashes into floor and dies. Searching has revealed same bug in Steam version.
Game Broken
I was really enjoying this game, then about 45 minutes in there was a room where the walls were on fire and after I escaped through the door the game freezes. There is no way to get past the issue without restarting the game. I will be reporting the game for a refund.
Looks good but controls are annoying
The average rating is right on. It really is a 3* app. It looks great, but it’s hard to watch the graphics because u need to be watching the indicator on the control pad for your movement cues. Also, the on-screen pad is awkward at best. Wish they offered several control pad / sword alternatives. I’d prefer if it were all based around my right thumb with the sword button in the center. It would be way easier to see.

Works great on IPad Pro 11
I remember this from the Arcades as a kid and I’m happy to have it on my iPad in HD. It’s still a very unique and fun game.
