Nights Have Stopped Downloading to App

The app has stopped downloading my nights a week ago. I tried downloading the raw data in case it was just a bug with the app and the missing nights weren’t in the raw data either. The app seems to work fine during the night, the alarm rings and the live EGG works. I am using the most recent iOS. Very disappointing!

Needs better HealthKit integration

While this app offers basic integration with apple health it only logs the total amount of sleep and not the time spend in specific sleep stages to apple health. It would make it very useful if the data would be logged by sleep stage now that this differentiation is available in HealthKit.

Great system

Shame they’re discontinuing. Same with Zeo years ago…

Dreem sleep device review

The Dreem headband is probably the best EEG based sleep tracking monitor on the market currently. Most of the other armband watches are not EEG based but measure heart rate and temperature to determine the four stages of sleep. So, they use an algorithm to track your sleep. This is not as accurate as measuring brain waves.

The Dreem app on your iPhone also gets easier to use the longer you use it. Quality of the device is excellent. The lack of a charging stand is a big problem as you end up having to use the box it came in as a stand. I believe there is a charger but it did not come with my Dreem device.

Two improvements needed:
1. The headband part that sits on top of your head needs to be slimmed down and made lighter. It’s the heaviest part of Dreem because it contains the computer that monitors your sleep. This will make the device much more comfortable to wear every night.
2. Dreem does not address Tinnitus which can also affect getting a good night’s sleep.

Overall, it’s still the best sleep tracking wearable backed by a company that is honestly involved in researching sleep quality to improve our lives. All the other companies just sell sleep trackers but are not really involved in sleep research.

App crashes every time I try to connect to WiFi

What’s the use of a $500 headband that can’t connect to the phone. The company basically disappears the minute after you make the payment. I should have know a company that takes $500 upfront and no subscription service with have no incentive to do anything after the customer buys the device!

Great for tracking sleep against daily activities

I’ve monitored how food, vitamins, exercise, and various sleep paraphernalia impact my sleep and this journaling has been very informative as to what works for my body. Noticing patterns over months is starting to pay off.

They keep deleting my review - writing for 3rd time..

Writing 3rd time and will do again but with lower rating if they wont stop deleting the review (it actually was 4 stars and not really negative at first).

Will be short this time - will reiterate that i love the concept, the device is good but app UX/UI is not really. What is most annoying is my review disappearing.

Main annoying issue in morning: i keep double-tapping the touchbar but alarm wont snooze/turn off until every 4th or 5th time or so and then it “snoozes” for like 30 freaking seconds, and i could not find anywhere how to change that - it gets extremely annoying in morning when you are still sleeping but you have to tap yourself on forehead a ton of times every 30 freaking seconds (yes, snoozing may not be good but making a device with a snooze feature that works every 4th time only and no way to find or change the dumb 30sec snooze duration anywhere in settings is not good either - especially as a premium $500 device!)

Better sleep, half the daytime caffeine

I have no issue getting up at the same time on weekends if I’m using this device at night. I can also reduce my caffeine intake from 4 energy drinks to 2 without issue. Look forward to what they make in the future.

Useful app, sometimes a little buggy

I have improved my sleep because of the Dreem headband. My only issue with the app is that when it asks me questions or I interact with certain content (during the sleep restructuring program, for example), it doesn’t seem to recognize my feedback or the fact that I have viewed/read that content the first time around. For example sometimes I’ll wake up earlier than my planned alarm and it asks me for the reason why. I answer the question but the question persists on my home screen and I have to answer it a second time before my sleep card about the night is generated. With the sleep restructuring program, the app didn’t always seem to recognize that I read or watched the content for the day unless I went through it a second time. This is kind of irritating and the only room for improvement with Dreem I would suggest—otherwise I am happy with the product.

Great start but really needs features added

Nmm

Poor Integration with HealthKit

While the Dreem app does have a way to enable syncing with HealthKit, it is limited to recording sleep minutes. Given the price of the headband, the company’s emphasis on data, and the number of sensors on the device, it’s extremely disappointing that no other metrics are sent to HealthKit (e.g. heart rate).

Great product

For those of us with sleep issues, what an excellent product. I can challenge my subjective sense about how my night was with objective data that I couldn’t have any other way short of a sleep study (since Fitbits and Garmins and any wearable without EEG sensors is just approximating stages of sleep not measuring it).

The company is responsive. My first device broke prematurely. They shipped out a new one without waiting for me to even ship back the first.

I haven’t completed the CBT-I program but I did start it. And what other wearable is so committed to getting to your sleep goals that they actually give you Zoom time with a sleep psychologist ?

The UI could be improved. And I would live for additional functions, like O2 saturation monitoring. But this device way serves its purpose. And just as importantly, I sense this company will keep improving this because they seem very committed to helping us solve our problems, not just sell us another electronic...

Didn’t record/can’t recommend

I am trying to work with this but it already didn’t record correctly.

Indispensable recording tool for TIs

The UI of this app may not be the best it can be, but if you are one of the many who is being harassed and tortured remotely in your sleep via the various psychotronics methods, then please use the dreem band and EMF meters or spectrum analyzers to correlate via timestamps what is happening in your brain vs what is happening in the EM (fast moving) fields around you, while you sleep. If we are extremely lucky, this data could in principle be used later in court to prove you are a victim, and the existence of this type of attacks on human biology.

Don't buy this product.

It's completely unusable as it refuses to pair via Bluetooth.

Works great

I found Dreem’s customer service to be amazing. They have always been very prompt, courteous, and extremely helpful. I received a non functional headband and they were great about exchanging it. I have been using it for 4 nights and find the app very helpful for seeing how I slept and I like the feedback via the cards every morning. I have had a small issue with server error but if I wait a bit longer it works fine. I absolutely recommend the Dreem2 and the app! I hope it will improve my sleep once I start their program ( but even if it didn’t, I find the information in the app to be very helpful and it gives me a lot of insight on what’s happening in my body when I am asleep). I will update after using one of the programs.

Can’t connect to WiFi...

I haven’t had this much frustration with an app / device. Ever. I have literally spent 3 hours trying to get the device to turn on and charge and then I haven’t been able to connect to WiFi. Of course, this isn’t an option that can be skipped either. Absolute trash.

Keeps chrashing

Without the app, this sofisticated device is totally useless

Everything about this product is unusable

It seems like no one on their team took the time to think about their users. The charger is the most complicated, faulty charger I never knew existed. Why not just use a microUSB like everyone else including direct competitors? For the software, since this is a review of the app, it wouldn’t pair the first time I launched it. Now it crashes every time I try to load it on an iPhone XR iOS13, even though I’ve tried reinstalling.

Works great for me!

I love my Dreem 2. Lots of useful data to improve sleep organized in a unique and insightful manner. Unfortunately, the app keeps telling me repeatedly that I have the wrong password, which is not the case. I log in with Facebook, and after several tries it finally works. I still love the Dreem 2 enough to deal with the bugs. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, then I will edit my review accordingly.
