What's New in Driver

7.1.4

October 30, 2026

Thanks for driving with us! Here's what's new in this update: - New info button on Trips explains your trip icons and sync status, with a one-time tip to point you to it. - See how syncing is going right under the Trips title. - Every trip shows whether it was recorded with video, a route only, or a connected car. The car filter is now called Connected Car trips. - A more compact Trips list, with a map on your most recent trip. - A smaller points window on the camera feed, so you see more of the road. - Trips and Profile open on a large title that shrinks as you scroll.

All for nothing

Thought this app was gonna be great cause the concept is great. After a few weeks with it I am thoroughly disappointed. 1. Not everyone has a modern car with a fancy integrated map system so I have to use my phone. Except this app hogs up everything and maps won’t even open while it’s open. Drove 81 miles and got not one single point. The retirement to earn points are bogus like forcing landscape mode only is ducking ridiculous I can’t do my phone in landscape for stuff like this cause my car ids a little car with little room for options so knowing that is required that means every mile I drive going forward will not get rewarded. Bulls hit.

How do I get paid for this app

No way

Don't fall for the promise of rewards. The rewards simply don't add up to what was promised. One hour of recording consumes 1 GB of data, and the promised rewards don't cover that cost. If you record 60 km, you won't get 60 points. On top of that, they try to get you to pay for a cloud storage subscription. It’s almost insulting. We already pay a lot for data plans and hand over our private data—do we really have to pay for a recording service that uses up our data allowance, too? In some countries, you need to accumulate 100 points just to earn the equivalent of $1.00. This app simply isn't worth it. Stay away while you still can.

The app is good, it records from the front and rear cameras without problems. It records the route perfectly.
But since nothing is perfect, it's not possible to access the recorded video, only to view it.
