This device goes out constantly, and I don’t understand. Just frustrated.
NEXC2 can’t pull cabin video
I tried the new version of the app that allows you to flip to the rear camera when trimming. It is able to pull the main video but just says it can’t connect when it tries to flip to the rear, it’s like the functionality for rear pulling isn’t available.
Worthless
Keeps disconnecting. Had to reconnect everytime. Video is decent. Can not read license olates especially in night videos. Just grab a different dash cam.
NEXC2 can’t pull cabin video
The app while it’s functional does not let you pull the cabin video, only the front facing one. It kind of defeats the purpose if the video you need has recordings of things occurring behind the car that you can see through the rear view only.
Data security and surveillance
I reached out to Nexar about the reported Flock Safety partnership and what it means for customers like me. I bought this dash cam for my personal safety on the road — not to unknowingly participate in a surveillance network that could capture footage on or near my own property.
When I contacted support, I received a generic AI response that clearly didn’t address anything I asked. That alone says a lot about how seriously Nexar takes its customers.
Until there is full transparency on this partnership and a clear opt-out, I can’t recommend this product to anyone who values their privacy.
