This device goes out constantly, and I don’t understand. Just frustrated.
NEXC2 can’t pull cabin video
I tried the new version of the app that allows you to flip to the rear camera when trimming. It is able to pull the main video but just says it can’t connect when it tries to flip to the rear, it’s like the functionality for rear pulling isn’t available.
Worthless
Keeps disconnecting. Had to reconnect everytime. Video is decent. Can not read license olates especially in night videos. Just grab a different dash cam.
NEXC2 can’t pull cabin video
The app while it’s functional does not let you pull the cabin video, only the front facing one. It kind of defeats the purpose if the video you need has recordings of things occurring behind the car that you can see through the rear view only.
Data security and surveillance
I reached out to Nexar about the reported Flock Safety partnership and what it means for customers like me. I bought this dash cam for my personal safety on the road — not to unknowingly participate in a surveillance network that could capture footage on or near my own property.
When I contacted support, I received a generic AI response that clearly didn’t address anything I asked. That alone says a lot about how seriously Nexar takes its customers.
Until there is full transparency on this partnership and a clear opt-out, I can’t recommend this product to anyone who values their privacy.

Not happy with this unit
After a year it won’t connect to WiFi it won’t do anything and then it works again out of nowhere customer service is weak and not responsive to questions or complaints Iam now looking for a new better camera
Not iPhone friendly
Every time I switch vehicles I have to repeat the pair process and if you forget it won’t be linked to your phone. Good camera bad app
Bugged out
I hit add another camera trying to see to what would happen now no matter how many times I close the app I can't get to the home screen to view the actual camera I have I'm very upset I purchased this device
Nexar saving footage
I took notice recently my dash cam won’t duplicate the footage I requested and save into my files.

Nexar pro will not work with my CarPlay rendering Nexar useless and was a waste of money

Like many have said it will give u headaches upon headache. I don’t understand what happen it was great at first I can see the video La right away and it would record really good. If I did a hard break it would alert me that it made a video from the long video and now the stupid thing won’t let me see the videos unless I sit in my car and wait hours to load. Then when I tried to watch a video it said the dash cam wasn’t connect to my device I went to connect and it logged me out and says it can’t find my device

Fix your app
I’ve made multiple attempts to log back in to my account and the SMS text won’t send to my phone. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times.
Never works when I want it
I hate this dash camera, it never works when I want it to , it shuts off on drives ! When I almost got into a car accident it shut off 5 mins before so I couldn’t even look back on it ! I also have trouble with this app !

Only the first 3 seconds of the trip get saved on the app

I bought the Nexar one ( front and in cabin ) a couple years ago and out of nowhere, my camera falls with adhesive still attached to the camera. I've been contacting Nexar since Nov 2025 in regards to this situation and was asking them to replace the adhesive. Still to this date, nothing!!! After going back-and-forth I decided to buy my own of adhesive And install my camera back. Well guess what, my camera no longer works!!!! I'm extremely disappointed with this company and their way of handling this situation. I've spoken to about 15 different people and nothing has been done. Their solution is for me to buy a new camera with a 10% discount. 10% are you kidding me!!! Not only that, they want me to buy the whole set. The only part of my camera that does not work is the forward facing. And that would be the only part I need to replace, but they're trying to make me buy the whole thing!! Unbelievable!!! Extremely extremely disappointed!!! Only reason for five stars, so it gets viewed.

Just look for a different dash cam
Since owning a Nexar dash cam, the software and hardware had given me nothing but headaches and issues. The videos do not save to SD card even if the option is selected. The app always runs in the background so your battery drains quickly. The only way I would get this to work is if I used my iPhone storage which would would fill up quickly (2-4 days) and I would have to reset it constantly. What really sparked me to write this review was when the camera stopped connecting to my phone altogether. No updates, no iOS changes, same settings, it just stopped working no matter what I did. The camera wasn’t damaged either. Stay far far far away from any Nexar powered dash cameras.

Does not record
Would not recommend this, consumed a lot of battery, sometimes wont record, all of the new dashcams have an internal battery which then sends it to the cloud but if by your chance doesnt connect to the camera it will fail to record. The fact it requires a consistent wifi and bluetooth connection makes it an issue.
Ive been using this for 5 years because I couldn’t afford a new one and what Ive always had to do was check whether it was recording or not and I had to close the app or turn off the camera an turn it back on each time in order to record. I have a older camera and it appears that it isn’t supported anymore, not sure why just cause my cameras older it wont work all of a sudden

The app stop working after six year of using it. Dash cam work but it won’t Bluetooth to my phone
