Liking this new RD app
I am always interested in a new app to help my radar detector become a smarter, easier and quieter device to get along with. While i had some stumbling blocks with Dukes on day 1, I think I have gotten over those and making progress. And so far. I’m loving it. The addition of CarPlay connectivity is new and welcome. Im anxious to get more time on this thing and continue ti learn more, and watch the changes as updates and upgrades are made over time. Well done!

Great App, Just Needs A Minor Fix
WONDERFUL APP! I love love love it! CarPlay Integration works very well and the features are outstanding. ONLY issue is it kills my battery, like bad… even with it plugged in. After this fix though I cannot wait to use it 24/7 when I drive! Keep up the great work.
This app is amazing.
My radar, police and accident crowdsourcing. Seeing my uniden radar detector update on CarPlay is awesome. Recommend wired CarPlay. I was using wireless CarPlay, streaming lossless Apple Music, and using this app all together and it’s definitely hard to charge your phone at the same time sometimes.
Great potential
I will start out by saying flat out that this app is buggy and there’s probably a reason it’s free right now. It doesn’t really seem to hold a connection to my V1G2 like the other apps and it also doesn’t seem to be logging encounters.
That said, it implements speed-based switching between Logic modes and it at least theoretically has GPS autolockouts. These features alone make it JBV1-like and are fairly groundbreaking for a Valentine user on iOS. I really want this to go somewhere, it just isn’t there right now. Seriously has the potential to be the best companion app on iOS for V1G2 users.

Thanks for the feedback. Just wanted to mention that Dukes will always be free. It's a passion project that I work on in my spare time because I enjoy building it and supporting the community. I did some digging into the V1G2 issues you mentioned and found a couple of edge cases that could affect connection stability and encounter logging. Those fixes are included in this week's update, so I'd be interested to hear if things improve for you after updating. Really coming into its own, best app of its type
Long time user of Highway Radar on android, and found my way to this app after being disappointed in the IOS version of HR. The past few updates have turned this into a polished companion app for radar detectors and community sourced alerts, and the CarPlay implementation is far ahead of any of the other apps.

Great app
Have it connected to the v1, works really, consistent updates and tweaking. Super fun to use and compare to the competing apps. All have their quirks but im leaning towards this one as the daily.
Not ready
The app burns through my battery and I have constant issues with 3rd party feeds. Please work on this, it could go somewhere. :)

Lacking Feature from Others
Great app and love all the customization but it’s just another screen for a Radar Detector without the crowd sourced police alerts

This app is a very good idea hopefully it keeps getting great updates and this will be a very useful app!!

Not ready for public release
The app is a great idea and if they can get the kinks worked out then it will definitely be one. I would use every day. There’s several coding errors, though like the speed limit and speed, graphic under laps the menu bar on CarPlay and the icons on the right feel cheap and low quality. On the phone itself the menu banner is not centered at the bottom. It sits just to the left. These are a couple examples of little coding issues that are throughout the app that are easily fixed if the developer cares enough.

Awesome app!
This app seems awesome. Using with my r8w! Super happy to see an app that uses CarPlay. Having issues right now with it crashing every time I put in navigation. Crashes on CarPlay and on my phone. Also the phone shows miles while the CarPlay shows meters/kilometers. Ive got an up to date 16 pro max in a 2021 Nissan Altima.

Awesome app but
The only thing I can think of to improve this is to had an IAP available for a pre setup custom feed for more data. Theres no instructions publicly available for creating/getting a custom feed setup
