PLEASE Fix App UX
Devs, love the app. It’s gotten a lot better over the years. However, please please please fix the UX surrounding filtering both in the browsing portions of the app as well as the product detail sections. When you select criteria to filter by, users expect the results to match those criteria. The way the app currently works is as if those filter criteria are a loose suggestion. If I filter casual shirts with a size and the “available for pickup at my store” toggle, I expect to see results that are available for pickup and in the size I filtered by - which is not what happens. Same thing goes for the product detail views - users should be able to select “pickup in store” and have the view filter down the color and size choices for that product based on what’s available at their store. The whole “pick a color and size and we will check..” is awful UX.

Great company - awful app
Great clothing options, solid rewards program, perhaps the most poorly optimized and unsupported app I’ve used. Constantly broken, searches never work. Ask to load more and watch as the app crashes. And even when it runs it turns my phone into a portable heater.
App is lagging
I would’ve given this a five star experience. However, the app lags significantly in comparison to the website. Overall, a good experience, but wanted to provide the feedback for process improvement.
Reward points
While I do prefer to shop with DXL,I now pay attention to rewards or points. I don’t understand the points system and it seems it takes forever to accumulate. I believe there was a time when discount coupons were awarded now I’m not sure if that’s still a thing. I don’t shop here as frequently as I would like, however it seems there no real incentive for being a loyal customer. I do appreciate and I have no complaints about the quality or price of the products.

Sales Offering never apply to what I order
I get alerts on sales and go to site and find shirts and the offer that brought me to site never applies. I would probably buy more clothes when you get me to the site but I get frustrated when the offers don’t apply. Love the clothes and am ok with higher prices because of the quality but feel like a bit of bait and switch.

Wish they had more. Love the app when I can find something I’m looking for. Hoping they get more. Few searches came back with nothing.
Use on a tablet
I do understand that the application is most likely used on a cell phone, but it would be easier on my eyes and my tapping skills to use a tablet. Unfortunately, this application is not flexibly optimized for both platforms.
This being said, too many shopping applications are not even remotely trying to be useful for their customers, and your developers have knocked it out of the customer service park! This application is fairly easy to use and quite user-friendly. My honest appreciation for your due diligence on this!
